[After a call to each volunteer's tablet the night before, the time and meeting place for Korra's impromptu exploration group is set. They meet outside the Initiative's small facility in the cold morning light with whatever supplies they want to bring with them. However, Korra's message in the tablet was clear:

"Wear something warm or you won't be coming with us. It's too risky going into the cold if you're not dressed for it." ]

Also keep in mind that these groups will be exploring the same terrain, and some crossover into another group's "possible discoveries" list is very likely!)

[Asbel nods in return. He all but reeks of humanity, but there might be a faint whiff of something else, too - something ancient and alien.]

I guess you're right, but I'd still like to go into this at least a little prepared. It's awfully cold out to have to make the same trip more than once today.

[It is that "something else" that causes the demon to furrow his brow slightly in thought. He has yet to encounter someone like Asbel in Exsilium, and it gives him pause.

[Asbel doesn't interpret it as that kind of invitation. In fact, he's wondering if it means he might not mind retrieving whatever they find out there. But cold or not, Asbel doesn't want to burden one of his teammates with such a task - at least, he'd never ask someone to do it alone.]

Oh, I see. [A beat.] Does that mean you're not affected by extremely warm temperatures either?

[He may be a Dog Demon, but Sesshoumaru doesn't play "fetch". However, if he feels he's the most qualified to do something--which is always--he'll obtain whatever he needs to in order to complete his mission. Without waiting to be asked. The demon turns to the boy.]
