[ two of the regular transports today are out on an easy meandering path that'll take them across the landscape and, more importantly, set a bit of it on fire if it crosses them at the wrong moment.

what are you prepared to do about it at the varying points when you catch them in the act, exsilium?

innocently building snowmen -- but the field seems patched with unexpected new flashes of ice. and in one case, at least, that's a really lopsided snowman--is one of those snowy heads listing onto a less-than-sturdy shoulder?

b)
today two figures are incautiously holding one of the Thames sharks down from where it's leapt out of a scorched hole in the river's ice. this is clearly taking a lot of effort. what do you do?

[ from inside, for long moments, there's only the faint glug of water. ]

Yeah! It might be fun, what do you think? Ah... if there's nothing else going on, I mean!

[ eventually emerging!! ]

pleased that he suggested something good, yata just grins and waits for mikoto to decide if he was ready to go yet. ]

--Oh, Mikoto-san, I haven't had the chance to show you yet! [ he pulls the dog tag necklace out from under his shirt, holding the chain up for him to see. ]

[ it's a necklace, it looks fine (and it looks like his) -- a compliment doesn't cross his mind. but there they go, headingggg out! ]

Kou-chan gave it to me for Christmas. [ he's quiet for a second to both tuck the necklace back inside his shirt and to... think about this next part. ultimately, it's Mikoto, so of course he says something. ]

She said it's some kind of vessel from her world, and that it might turn into something cool if I'm ever in trouble!
