[ two of the regular transports today are out on an easy meandering path that'll take them across the landscape and, more importantly, set a bit of it on fire if it crosses them at the wrong moment.

what are you prepared to do about it at the varying points when you catch them in the act, exsilium?

a)
innocently building snowmen -- but the field seems patched with unexpected new flashes of ice. and in one case, at least, that's a really lopsided snowman--is one of those snowy heads listing onto a less-than-sturdy shoulder?

b)
today two figures are incautiously holding one of the Thames sharks down from where it's leapt out of a scorched hole in the river's ice. this is clearly taking a lot of effort. what do you do?

c)
whatever you like! yata & mikoto will be around and interfering anywhere, please feel free to make shit up! ]

[ the day was finally here. it was happening!! he was spending time with Mikoto!

yata had worried for all of two seconds about small details (what to wear? should he wear his hat? quick, try and plan out a whole day by the hour--) before he decided, fuck it. not for lack of caring, rather because it was mikoto, and no matter what the whole day would be perfect.

he had at least brushed his hair this morning before shoving his beanie over it. he was ready.

as such, after giving mikoto enough time to get his sleep in (shut up, he wasn't watching mikoto sleep and waiting for the perfect moment) and giddily calling to him the second he stirred, now here he was. like a puppy wagging its tail wanting to go out. ]

I was hoping we could get an early lunch first, Mikoto-san! Doing stuff in the snow can get really tiring after a while, so it's good if we eat a lot and build up our strength!

[ not that mikoto needed that when he was already the strongest ever. ]

...That's pretty cute. Kind of romantic for a snowman, though.

it comes from somewhere up above -- a shark that shoots down from the sky and towards the river down below. it's fast enough to be a clearly concerning projectile, but it's just slow enough for anyone to catch sight of it, to discern the shape of the creature and its outline glittering a fine shade of blue.

on the bright side it doesn't look to be aimed directly at suoh mikoto.
