[As he takes that ill-advised step forward, Chrono might feel that Kevin's holy aura is crackling under his human veil. Ideed, repressing divine wrath takes effort. Meanwhile, the angel is giving Rosette a pleading look, hoping that she will change her mind.]

[ He's been looking all over, and finally managed to hear voices coming from one of the bedrooms. ]

[ ...from this vantage-point, it looks like Kevin is threatening a small child, Chrono, while Rosette seems distinctly unwell. And he hasn't even noticed the bed, yet. ]

[ And while Rosette kicks an archangel, Chrono rearranges his priorities until obfuscation comes out on top. He doesn't even wince as Kevin gets clobbered.

In a tone of open, bewildered uncertainty- ]

[Indeed, the innocent and pure of heart have mighty kicks. Uriel falls back, thinking:Thank God she is healthy enough to do this.

Being kicked in the face in front of Chrono, though, that is somewhat humiliating. Rubbing his nose and disoriented, he still points frantically at the treacherous creature, the boy shouting that the Emperor is naked.]

[ On the one hand, Chrono does look like an adorable child. On the other, Break himself has stabbed any number of child contractors, or else watched them die after he'd killed their Chains. If he'd had a chance to ponder this further, he might have noted how Rosette, for all her pluck, has an air of something tragic about her.... ]

[ ...but that entire train of thought is derailed when Rosette jumps up and KICKS KEVIN IN THE FACE!

[She looks up, brightening as Link makes his presence known. Still, she turns to reassure Kevin...]

[And, Break may notice the figure on the bed as Rosette goes back to the bedside. She opens one of the pockets and pulled out four crosses, driving them into the mattress around Allen.]

[ Eventually he leaves off laughing and reaches down to help his silly angel off the floor. Rosette's words give him pause, however: I'm not going to die, I won't let myself sounds far too close to something he'd say. ]

Rosette...

[ But the question dies on his lips the instant he notices the very grey form on the bed. Letting go of Kevin, he rushes over to Rosette's side. ]

What happened? Is he — ?

[ — dead? ]

[ Chrono locks his jaw and crosses to the box Link brought with him, sparing a nod of thanks. He wastes no time hefting it to the foot of the bed and pulling out the various coiling wires.

He doesn't bother to look up when he responds. ]

He's possessed by a demon.

[Kevin doesn't resist Break. He is still shaking with anger (and fear), his aura more expansive than usual. His eyes move between Rosette and Allen.]

She is going to risk her life trying to save Master Walker. By feeding that thing!

[How many times must he say that is a bad idea? Of course, the only reason Kevin is not exorcising the demon himself is because he can't.]

Do not let her! Please!

I believe Miss Rosette is actually going to risk her life by directly assisting Walker's soul against his "guest." What they tried just before was actually the alternative.

[Keeping an eye on the set up to see if there's anything he should help with, automatically situating himself between the Exorcists and everyone else.]
