Date & Time: 2/25, shortly after Kakashi's arrival
Location: Kakashi's room (304)
Characters: Uzumaki Naruto ([personal profile] obstinates) and Hatake Kakashi ([personal profile] ura_no_ura)
Summary: Injured Kakashi! Naruto rushes to the rescue! Revelations! Stay tuned!
Warnings: Blood? Language?

[Towels, gauze, antiseptic. The miniature first-aid kit Naruto and Kushina had put together looked a little bare after Naruto stuffed what he needed into a small sack that he slung over his shoulder. He wanted to be prepared for anything. Kakashi being injured was serious. Though Naruto wasn't a medic, it was still better than letting Kakashi go to the hospital here. Naruto still didn't trust the Initiative.

He taps his foot in a mixture of agitation and too much energy as he stares at the wall, mentally making a list of everything he had. When he's confident that he's ready, he shuts his eyes and concentrates. Just a few seconds later, the whole area lights up in his mind as he enters Sage Mode. He can see everything connected to nature, and it only takes a few moments to locate Kakashi's familiar chakra.

Guided by that ability, he rushes out the door. Kushina's not around, but he'll shoot her a text on his device saying: 'had to go out to help Kakashi-sensei'. There's no time to explain fully.

A couple of minutes later, he's knocking on the door.]

HEY! Kakashi-sensei, open up. It's me, y'know!

Well, these type of skills are important as well for a shinobi, especially if you're on a mission and don't have a medic-nin to help you with injuries. I usually take care of any injuries on my own, but it's faster to have someone else perform stitches.

[ Kakashi explains as he watches Naruto more or less finish stitching up the wound. The stitches are a little jagged and uneven, but for what they are, they're just fine. He reaches into his kunai holster and comes up with a kunai, slicing the thread, then slightly blots the wound with the wet towel. And then -- ]

Ah, thanks.

[ A bit awkwardly, maybe, because well, how does one thank someone for just sewing up a huge gash on your body?

He reaches for the roll of gauze so he can dress the wound. ]
