Date & Time: Backdated to the entirety of last week, feel free to pick a date.
Location: Around the Hold.
Characters: Jacquese and YOU!
Summary: A certain monk is looking around for a piano, perhaps you can be of help. Or not.
Warnings: None.

Vanadi's masquerade was the perfect excuse to go looking for a piano, he'd been wanting to see if there was one to play for whenever he needed to vent his emotions out on something besides fighting anyway. It would probably be a lot easier and quicker if he just used the device to ask on the network, but with the monsters gone there wasn't much else to do plus he preferred asking people face-to-face. It was an opportunity to meet new faces as well and Jacquese wasn't going to pass on that.

Thus he finds himself wandering around the Hold, gently tugging on people's sleeves or tapping their shoulders to grab attention. For those who take notice, they will be greeted with a smile, a friendly wave and a miniature blackboard that reads:

Excuse me, might you know where I can find a piano?

Blaine gave his chin a little lift and a wider, friendlier smile. "Good to meet you Jacquese. I'm Blaine. Have you been here long?"
strategic_guile: (Not going down so smoothly this time)

"It feels like a long time, doesn't it? I've only been here two months." It really did feel like forever, but that probably had to do with the shock of everything. As stoic and easy going as he was, there was only so much he can handle before there was overload. "All the new stuff wears you out fast."

Blaine thought about it. He had been on the mission to do ecological terror on a people some thousand years in the past. The purpose of which was dubious at best. Since then he hadn't been on any missions. Maybe killing monsters could be considered a mission, but that was just like a regular day at work, sniping things from buildings. He gave a shrug and an apologetic look. "I haven't been on any of the missions aside from the one we all ended up going on, so I can't say. The training should be more focused, but it isn't bad."
strategic_guile: (Because my eyebrow says so!)

Blaine had been there all of two months. He wasn't showing much interest in missions and he didn't put more effort into training. He was relatively sure he'd have to go on one eventually, but what role he would play was up in the air. The Initiative was lax on protocols and requirements.

"They want you to, of course. They brought us here for that, but I haven't gone on any. I haven't volunteered either, so who knows. Someone who's been here longer would explain it better, sorry."

"For better or worse." Blaine gave him a smile, still tinged with apology. "Well, Jacquese, if I find a piano I'll let you know. We still have some time."
