A man must be
Date & Time: November 17th, all day
Location: ANYWHERE AND EVERYWHERE IN THE HOLD
Characters: Ezio Auditore and YOU!
Summary: Ezio is exploring the Hold
Warnings: None as of yet
[Ezio is a man of knowledge. The more he knew, the better prepared he could be for anything and everything possible. Too often has he seen people caught off-guard and fail for one single missing piece of information.
As it happens, he's trying to learn the layout of the Hold. The quickest routes in, the most complicated ones, the buildings more adequate for climbing and scouting. You can find him nearly anywhere in his Assassin garb, hood on, stalking about the place.]

srs rper in the house
Or she should have. Once out the door, the makeshift knot on the compass string comes out, sending the compass sliding off her chest and clattering to the ground. )
Great.
( She steps forward after the compass, which... is currently rolling toward the edge of the sidewalk. Where there is a gutter.
Disaster's about three seconds away from happening, and Mia seems to finally realize it. )
Wait! Stop that compass!
bene
He apologizes to a few people who he had pushed away as he returns to the woman.]
Perhaps you should take better care of your things.

( She holds out a hand after a moment, contemplating the worth of saying thank you after a statement like that. )
A glorified evolving paperweight doesn't mean much outside of what they swear it might be able to do.
( Ah, but fine. She's in enough of a good mood after exercising to smile and do the right, proper, polite thing. )
Thanks for stopping it from heading down to the sewers.

Your things, better said. You're welcome, signorina. I would hate to see anyone, especially yourself, lose a paperweight.

How am I wearing something with no pockets? )
Does my unknown benefactor have a name?
( And eying his clothing: )
And country of origin?
no subject
Ezio Auditore, from Italia.

She smiles, looking a little sheepish. )
Sorry, I didn't mean that the way it sounded. Nice to meet you, Mr. Auditore. I'm Mia Fey, from... the United States of America.
( Look here now she'll offer to shake hands? )
idk if I should apologize or not...
[Ezio takes the hand, of couse, but he's of a particular gentlemanly nature, he kisses her knuckles lightly.]
Perhaps you should find some place safer for your compass so you won't lose it again.

Aaah. Mia gently and firmly pulls her hand back toward herself, looking at Ezio through her lashes and offering him a warmer sort of smile. Sincerity? Who knew, there was some in there, but past that... )
You're right. I really should keep it closer...
( She holds it up with her unclaimed hand, hooking one finger around her collar, and... deftly depositing the compass into the only storage she has on her right now.
Her bra. )
... to heart. Thank you again, Ezio. It's my good fortune to run across a man with such good advice in this part of town.
( And after all of this she was really going to need a shower. )
no subject
Well.
Alright then. He'll just not look at that because really, he's not too fazed by that.]
You say it as if no one has anything good to say.
no subject
Still, the better mood persists. )
Plenty do. Right here, it's either about how we can help the Initiative, or how we're doing it wrong. Or if you're paying close attention, invitations to join one of the several smaller groups among the Transports.
( She begins to walk again -- or starts, giving Ezio the opportunity to decide if he wishes to walk with her or continue on his business. )
Which I'm making the presumption you are one, given how you're dressed.

The future is slowly becoming more and more of a pain.]
I have yet to join anyone here.

( Though she smiles in some sort of amusement. )
I wasn't taking what you wore to be a uniform. Is it?
