A man must be
Date & Time: November 17th, all day
Location: ANYWHERE AND EVERYWHERE IN THE HOLD
Characters: Ezio Auditore and YOU!
Summary: Ezio is exploring the Hold
Warnings: None as of yet
[Ezio is a man of knowledge. The more he knew, the better prepared he could be for anything and everything possible. Too often has he seen people caught off-guard and fail for one single missing piece of information.
As it happens, he's trying to learn the layout of the Hold. The quickest routes in, the most complicated ones, the buildings more adequate for climbing and scouting. You can find him nearly anywhere in his Assassin garb, hood on, stalking about the place.]

Or she should have. Once out the door, the makeshift knot on the compass string comes out, sending the compass sliding off her chest and clattering to the ground. )
Great.
( She steps forward after the compass, which... is currently rolling toward the edge of the sidewalk. Where there is a gutter.
Disaster's about three seconds away from happening, and Mia seems to finally realize it. )
Wait! Stop that compass!
bene
He apologizes to a few people who he had pushed away as he returns to the woman.]
Perhaps you should take better care of your things.

( She holds out a hand after a moment, contemplating the worth of saying thank you after a statement like that. )
A glorified evolving paperweight doesn't mean much outside of what they swear it might be able to do.
( Ah, but fine. She's in enough of a good mood after exercising to smile and do the right, proper, polite thing. )
Thanks for stopping it from heading down to the sewers.

Are you going to watch me or do something else as well?

at least there Blue has an easier time prying himself away to think and feel for himself.
glowy albino folks, just standin' around on a roof in the dark, nbd.]

She was particularly judgmental.
Which, of course, only serves to pique Ezio's interest as to what exactly was causing the glow. He arrives to the same roof quickly but quietly, making sure to stay silent as he carefully steps.]

it's what turns Blue's head slowly, the rest of him following in a steady motion, opening his eyes last. the glow dims with that act.
but that's about all the initiative he takes in that moment on the outside; internally, he feels out the atmosphere the stranger brings with him. better to know whether he's facing a threat that way.]

Perhaps she can shake these dispiriting feelings with a proper work-out today. She heads toward the gym today. Despite wary thoughts and feelings, she's not about to let herself go in a place like this. She didn't spend a good chunk of her life so far training for nothing.
And she's certain she felt a presence nearby just now. She stops momentarily, looking back to see who or what it is. ]

Having a several inch long gash in her jeans right across her hip and part of her upper thigh, for example, was not very practical. Her coat thankfully hid this wardrobe malfunction, but there was an unfortunate sag she was tending to every so often as she browsed around the Hold's marketplace. This courtyard was one she became acquainted with when she first arrived, though the familiarity didn't make it any easier finding suitable replacement pants.
She sorely wished hers would just stay in place and stop sliding down one side of her hips, above anything else. ]

Though he's starting to change his mind as to how often it would okay to wear his Italian Renaissance garb.
He sees the blond woman, a very pretty one at that, with a mild expression of frustration. She seems to be wandering a little, which, of course, catches his attention.]

But here in the Hold there wasn't much to do, and lest she wanted to sit around doing nothing she had to do something to get herself out of her blighted apartment.
She's sitting on a bench, book in hand, when something catches the corner of her eye. She spies a man scaling down a wall of a nearby building, and she looks up, raising an eyebrow.]
Surely there are easier ways to travel.
[He looks vaguely familiar, but says nothing, instead shutting her book closed with a snap.]
Unless you plan on falling to your death one of these days.

I have no intention of doing that now or later.
