[It's just about seven, and M'gann's already in the Hold preparing things for experimentation. There are a few baking sheets laid out as well as some mixing bowls, cutting boards and other, smaller necessities. The actual ingredients will come out once things are fully set up. They don't want them to spoil, after all!]

Good, but what's that noi--

[Cookies pause in the air as M'gann looks at Shadow curiously.]

Hi. Can we help you with something?

[obfuskate]

[ his eyes slip shut for the briefest moment, olive nose twitching as he sniffed, taking in the pleasant scent of sugar and dough. he opens them up again, his own red eyes mirroring madoka's, then trailing over to the strange, green-skinned humanoid. ]

Hello. Did you... make those entirely from scratch?

[ goodness, his tail is wagging insanely. shadow really does love his sweets. ]

[revelation]

Mm, we did! Would you like to try one for us? We are in need of of a taste tester.

[obfuskate]

Mm...

[ he seems thoughtful for a minute, pondering if he would be able to slip maybe a couple more than just one... and then he nods, that smirk spreading widely across his muzzle. ]

I'll bite.

[ no pun intended. (or was it?!) ]

Good, I'm glad to hear that.

[All the cookies float to the rack except for one, which hovers to Shadow and stays in front of him as if waiting for him to take it.]

[ in that moment, he snatches the single cookie and takes a small, soft bite out of it. it takes only seconds for his heart to soar, his sweet tooth screaming plentiful thanks to him. these cookies are fantastic, definitely tasting of homemade skill. Shadow's eyes melt shut as he savors its flavor, certain that his heart is doing backflips within his chest. it's so good! ]

Mmm...

[ he swallows and examines its surface, flicking it between his fingers. all the while, his tongue swipes over some crumbs on his upper lip. delicious. ]

Very palatable.

[revelation]

( Madoka is sort of on the edge of her seat as she watches, hoping for the best. So when the words come, she cannot help the smile that appears along with a sigh of relief. )

[A chuckle can be heard from the martian as she turns to face Madoka with a smile.]
