[OPEN] If there's a place you got to go, I'm the one you need to know

Date & Time: Over the course of a few days during some vague point of November.....
Location: The Catacombs
Characters: Everybooody (yeaaa-aaah)
Summary: Time to explore some caves. Grab your backpack! Let's go! Ivaminos!
Warnings: who even knows, really bad jokes.

The caverns were massive and expansive. They certainly weren't going to run out of places to look, which, considering this was a jaunt fueled largely by boredom, was encouraging. Down below, there were the remains of the emergency camps and makeshift dwellings the natives and transports had made during the bombing a few months earlier. Beyond that were relics of ages past, in various degrees of decomposition, including a somewhat distressing amount of CDs that seemed to be largely made up of boybands from the 1990's stacked neatly at the end of one cavern.

Clearly this called for further exploration.

(ooc: Treat this like a regular Transport/mission log.  Make a thread, hit up others, gain new cr and profit.  Backtag forever, everyone is welcome, don't forget to tag yourself.)

"This place is very interesting, don't you think?" He said, looking over his shoulder at her and tossing the rock up and down lightly. "I mean, not just for the sociopolitical drama, which is somewhat entertaining if not a bit repetitive, but also the geological, environmental and historical situation that the place is in." He crunched the rock in his fist, wiping the dust off his palms.

"I don't know if you've been outside the city, but I'm impressed by the sheer level of long-term devastation humanity's managed to wreck on the planet so thoughtfully given to them. You always manage to outdo yourselves."

"Oh, I don't have any arguments that humanity is capable of great things," Lucifer replied, his tone easy and casual. He kicked at the dirt, picking up a CD case and blowing the dust off the front of it. "They truly are. They're ingenius and creative and brilliant. After all, how else would have they invented nuclear missiles, chemical warfare, internment camps and assault weapons? It's a massive amount of brainpower and energy. Inventions building on inventions. All for the sole purpose of murdering each other because you worship a different facet of your Maker. Not that isn't interesting, it just gets a little repetitive."

He snorted, opening the CD case and studying the CD inside. Ace of Base. He drew his fingers over the bottom of the CD, ear quirked like he was listening to it.

He has that appearance of listening to the CD for a little while longer before he answers her, like he didn't hear her talking, or maybe he just doesn't care (likely the latter). When he's good and ready though, he drops it back on the floor and offers her a helpless little shrug. He turns and looks at the wall, holding one hand up to the dirt.

"That's exactly what i was saying. Although, I guess what I should really say is that many human innovations were made for the purpose of war, especially in what you might refer to as the modern age. The internet, for example. Or spaceflight. Black powder. Nylon. You get the point."
