Date & Time: 18th, beginning at 2100 hours, through to the 20th.
Location: All around Exsilium.
Characters: Everyone!
Summary: The United Earth decides Exsilium had obviously not learned its lesson back in October, and does another round of humble-making bombing for those impertinent exiles. OOC info can be found here.
Warnings: Violence, death, general gloom and doom.

The warning had gone out approximately two hours before the bombing began, broadcast to any available receptor on the island: UE aggressions incoming, bombs expected; please proceed to Catacombs immediately. It repeats over and over, right up until the first bomb, aimed at the Hold itself, silences the signal.

The air is thick with smoke and worse. Every one to two hours another bomb shakes the island. Buildings crumble and shatter, but the focus is on the Hold and the native hospital. Initiative employees, some sick as anyone else, are steadfast in their escorting natives and transports alike into the underground catacombs. For two days the bombs continue ceaselessly, dropped by their cloaked and invisible carriers overhead.

The United Earth is nothing if not thorough.

[BAM. Giant demon cat descending from the sky, landing in front of you, with an armor-clad girl carrying a big boomerang sitting on its back. Said girl is now beckoning to Johnny to also climb on the giant scary-looking demon cat.

Yes/no?]

[Johnny just stares at them for a moment before stumbling over to them.]

'S this happening, or am I hallucinatin' again.

[taijiya]

I kind of wish it was a hallucination, but no. Come on.

[Extending a hand to help him up, even as she stifles a small residual cough.]

[He needs the help. The usually strong Johnny is weak as a kitten thanks to this days-long high fever he's had. It takes a bit of struggling and coughing first, though.]

Thanks. Is there anywhere safe? Last time this happened we were underground for days.

[taijiya]

Yeah, well, the underground is where we're supposed to go.

[She spurs Kirara in that direction and coughs harshly, not quite sickness-free.]

Good thing ya got this... thing... [He's not sure what Kirara is.] Pretty cool.

Shit. Ya almost sound as good as me.

Her name is Kirara.

[Sango stifles another cough and flushes before replying.] Well... I'm not exactly over it yet.

[Which would be an understatement, but Sango is stubborn and occasionally rather self-sacrificing.]

Me neither. Believe it or not, I'm better than I was. Yesterday a tube was still doin' breathing for me.

Right? I'm not going to pretend I understand one bit of it, but the medicine here is amazing.

Yeah. Too bad all this'll put a stop to people gettin' better. Goddamn UE.

Sure as hell hope not. I dunno what it is they do and don't know about us now. Pretty sure they got spies in our ranks.
