MISSION: GET TO ZE CHOPPA

Location: Uruguay National Defense HQ
Characters: All transports!
Summary: All transports are sent back to Uruguay to download a self-aware AI before it gets bombed out of existence by an early incarnation of the UE. Time distortion effects will be set right either on the way there or on the way back, according to player choice.
Warnings: violence, action movie tension, 3 terabytes of foot fetish porn.

The Transporter drops the entire transport population into what will quickly be established as Home Base, a mile from the vast, sprawling facility that is Uruguay's National Defense HQ. The low roar of helidrones moving above is pervasive, but the black ships can only be glimpsed here and there through the thick cover of trees overhead. If you keep calm and quiet, it's likely you won't be spotted. It's the UND HQ their attention is on, after all.

The population is quickly sorted by attending Initiate employees according to who volunteers to fight and who volunteers to protect, along with those with enough skill to access the computers, and those with enough skill to get them there. The fighters move out first, off to intercept the early UE's ships and ground troops, and to draw the automated defense systems of the facility alike. They'll be in a crossfire, and neither side will be happy to see them there.

The techies and their escorts are sent out far more quietly, in groups of three. Their task is to sneak past the front lines and into the facility itself. There might be alarms and automated defense drones, so those escorts may well be called on to earn their keep. The Initiative can't give any information about which building will house the AI's mainframe, that information was long since lost to history. All they can do is send out enough people to hope that one of them manages to find it.

And remember — as soon as the UE troops withdraw, there will only be minutes until the bomb drops. Everyone would do well to work fast.

... Do you really hate vehicles that much? [ There was the stuttering, and now he's talking about roasting metal cars. Natsu, stop. ]

Pretty much yeah. They rely way too much on their guns and rockets.

[And do pardon the shuddering at the question.]

They're evil, they shake and wobble and jolt you around all the time. My stomach feels sick just thinking about it.

Ehehehe... but now you can get back at every vehicle that's ever done that to you. Shake those armored-car-transports up until the soldiers can't take it any longer! As soon as they can't use their guns, they're powerless!

That's the plan. Every time one of their kind hit a big rock or something when I had to ride on. I will pay them back a HUNDRED times over!!

[Unfortunately the next thing to roll into the area is not an APC. Oh no. It's a bloody TANK.]

Natsu! Do you know what those things are called? It's like a monster...

[ Kougyoku's clueless about tanks, but that thing on the top looks like a huge gun. She doesn't know how much water she'll need for bullets that big! ]

Not a clue. But I know what it's gonna be called in a minute~

[He hits his palm with his fist and both his hands ignite.]

Scrap.

[With that Natsu charges head on at the Tank allowing the vehicle's turret to slowly target him. When it fires he pushes off to the side just before the shell hits]

Old Bolt face would love to dance with you guys but he's not around so don't mind if I add a little spice to this dance. Fire Dragon's ROAR!

[And immediately a pillar of flame engulfs the tank. Unfortunately it's not enough as the armor plating of the vehicle does glow red from the heat but it's still operating. The crew inside are desperately trying to turn the turret on Natsu in time.]

Tough nut to crack huh. Would've thought for sure that'd be enough.

[He grins as an idea suddenly pops up into mind. Natsu suddenly lunges towards the tank and grabs the barrel of its gun vaulting himself on top of it with the agility that would put even monkeys in awe. Now he scoots up along the barrel until he's facing the muzzle. What crazy idea has he come up with?!]

[ Kougyoku drops her jaw in awe as she watches Natsu move. He said he was a mage, but with the way he fought, he was more like a dragon! ]

Natsu...! [ She wants to tell him it's dangerous! But at the same time, she knows how strong he is, and she wants to respect that. But in case anything happens...

Kougyoku begins gathering water around her sword. He said they were friends, didn't he? She has to be ready to protect him! ]

[That is the highest praise he could want. Being raised by a dragon he wants to emulate their ferocity, bravery and power to the best of his ability. AFter all gotta make daddy proud.]

Stay there. Things are about to heat up around here.

[Wouldn't want Kougyoku getting caught up in his idea. No sir. There is a heavy clunk from the inside of the turret signaling that the next shell has been loaded. This would be the signal for any normal person to get out of the way. But not Natsu. No he inhales deeply and then sticks his mouth against the cannon's muzzle. Only to then release his prepared roar. The fire expands within instantly and the barrle glows bright red before it starts bubbling up like it was boiling from the inside. There is an explosion inside shaking the turret and the hatch flies open as several desperate soldiers clamber out screaming for their lives with their clothes on fire.]
