[Open - Backdated]
Date & Time: February 11th, afternoon
Location: Floors 1-10
Characters: Lloyd, Zelos, and anyone who answers their door
Summary: Lloyd is trying to find Zelos, but he isn't sure where he lives. So it's time to knock on all the doors until he finds him or someone tells him where he lives!
Warnings: None
[Lloyd had been meaning to talk to Zelos ever since he had gotten back to normal, but he had felt weird for a few days after that. With the way he had just shut off the tablet on him last time, Lloyd wasn't going to try contacting him that way. The only problem was, he had no idea which apartment he lived in.
So the only thing to do was to knock on every door until he found him! His dad always told him to start at the beginning, so beginning on the first floor, he's going to check every room until he can find his friend. It's not like they lived on the same floor, right?
Lloyd walks up to the doors and knocks on it, waiting around no more than a minute for someone to either open the door or respond in some way. He can be persistent when he wants, but his attention span still only lasts so long, after all.]

Sometime after all the other threads here
[Plus with that chosen weapon thing causing his magic to be easier to set off, it was good to try to have some semblance of emotional control before he set something on fire.]
[But the knock on the door stirs him out of his meditation. He eyes the door in annoyance, trying to see if he can hear who it is, but with no talking there's nothing definite. Damn. He then debates ignoring it, but well, it could be one of Sophie or Allen's friends and he didn't feel like having to deal with that trouble later. ]
[And so he gets up and heads over to the door at a lazy pace to open it. It's very clear from his startled reaction and sub-sequential staring that Lloyd was the last person he expected to see.]
- Lloyd?!

I've been looking everywhere for you! I thought you might have a fancier door or something like in Meltokio...

[HE IS BROKE HERE OKAY. Though he is definitely looking like he almost disbelieves what is going on. how did Lloyd even find his place? He had been so careful not to give himself away. It wasn't even like he was the only redhead in this place either, so it couldn't have been his roommates....]
What are you doing here?
no subject
[There's your answer!]
I wanted to talk to you, but you get off the tablet things so fast. Why are you acting so weird?
no subject
[Though he sure is upping the snark]
Gee, from the sounds of it I could be avoiding you.
no subject
But why would you do that? And why did you tell me your name was Kanny or whatever?
no subject
Didn't know it was you.
And why? [of course he'd ask. Ugh. No tablet to shut off either. Might as well blurt it out] I dunno Lloyd, wouldn't you avoid the person who killed you?
no subject
Well, that would depend on a lot. But I'd probably wanna know why they did it if I didn't know. And if I could still talk to them. Why are you asking me that, anyway?
no subject
Alright, I'll just say this once.
There's multiple versions of our worlds. Different things happen in different versions. Like there might be one where you never met Colette or Genis or anyone else. Things happen differently, for whatever reason!
Well the Zelos you met in Death City? Wasn't me. Maybe he was the one from your version of the world, maybe he wasn't. You're too early in the timeline to tell.
But the future he and the others told you about? Didn't happen for me. In my version of the world?
I was working for Cruxis, and you killed me.
1/ah ha ha
I...

Okay, yeah, so much of this was NOT adding up...]

Done
And how can there be different versions of the same place?! There are two worlds and one of each of us!

[It's strange, part of him thought maybe he'd get some sort of pleasure out of seeing the reaction. But there's no pleasure to be found. Not that he'll let it show, rather the mask that he doesn't care is firmly up]
And oh don't worry, you're not some monster in that world or anything. It was just to save Colette. Understandable, really.

For a friend, you never did trust me.

But I assure you- [He'll activate his wings, letting them unfold and be very much in plain sight. If those aren't proof of his story, he doesn't know what else is] There's no mistake.
