[Open - Backdated]
Date & Time: February 11th, afternoon
Location: Floors 1-10
Characters: Lloyd, Zelos, and anyone who answers their door
Summary: Lloyd is trying to find Zelos, but he isn't sure where he lives. So it's time to knock on all the doors until he finds him or someone tells him where he lives!
Warnings: None
[Lloyd had been meaning to talk to Zelos ever since he had gotten back to normal, but he had felt weird for a few days after that. With the way he had just shut off the tablet on him last time, Lloyd wasn't going to try contacting him that way. The only problem was, he had no idea which apartment he lived in.
So the only thing to do was to knock on every door until he found him! His dad always told him to start at the beginning, so beginning on the first floor, he's going to check every room until he can find his friend. It's not like they lived on the same floor, right?
Lloyd walks up to the doors and knocks on it, waiting around no more than a minute for someone to either open the door or respond in some way. He can be persistent when he wants, but his attention span still only lasts so long, after all.]

One glance at the person standing outside is enough to tell him that no, there isn't. Still, his expression of disappointment, at least, is fleeting; it soon settles into a generically irritable frown. The rest of him settles down, too.] What?
no subject
I'm, uh, just looking for my friend. What was that about?
no subject
[Hearing how defensive that outburst sounds gives him a moment's pause, though. Yeah, he should know better than to get his hopes up. His overreaction there isn't this guy's fault, no matter how obnoxious it otherwise is to go around knocking on total strangers' doors.
He rubs the back of his neck and tries to calm himself down a little, although he still looks far from happy.] Just wasn't expecting a caller, is all. But nobody's in right now apart from me.

Nope. Never heard of the guy. What're you doing, knocking on strangers' doors at random and hoping he springs out of the woodwork? Talk about inefficient.

Sometime after all the other threads here
[Plus with that chosen weapon thing causing his magic to be easier to set off, it was good to try to have some semblance of emotional control before he set something on fire.]
[But the knock on the door stirs him out of his meditation. He eyes the door in annoyance, trying to see if he can hear who it is, but with no talking there's nothing definite. Damn. He then debates ignoring it, but well, it could be one of Sophie or Allen's friends and he didn't feel like having to deal with that trouble later. ]
[And so he gets up and heads over to the door at a lazy pace to open it. It's very clear from his startled reaction and sub-sequential staring that Lloyd was the last person he expected to see.]
- Lloyd?!

I've been looking everywhere for you! I thought you might have a fancier door or something like in Meltokio...

[HE IS BROKE HERE OKAY. Though he is definitely looking like he almost disbelieves what is going on. how did Lloyd even find his place? He had been so careful not to give himself away. It wasn't even like he was the only redhead in this place either, so it couldn't have been his roommates....]
What are you doing here?
no subject
[There's your answer!]
I wanted to talk to you, but you get off the tablet things so fast. Why are you acting so weird?
no subject
[Though he sure is upping the snark]
Gee, from the sounds of it I could be avoiding you.
no subject
But why would you do that? And why did you tell me your name was Kanny or whatever?

...Huh, this wasn't Zelos answering the door either. At least she seemed friendly enough about this.]
Hi! Does a guy named Zelos live here?
no subject
Nill frowns. While she has a slight suspicion, there's nothing to confirm it, and she doesn't really want to bother trying. It isn't really much of her business, so she quickly shakes her head. She holds up a hand though, a finger extended - just a moment, please - before pulling her tablet out of her pocket and typing on it.]
Is that a friend of yours?
no subject
[...Why is she making him read, this isn't school. Maybe this was like when Colette lost her voice? Maybe he'll find out!]
Yeah, that's right! I really need to talk to him! Do you know him?
no subject
I'm sorry if you have trouble reading it. I can't talk.
I don't know him.
no subject
[Hey, he was right!]
Do you need some help? One of my friends couldn't talk for a while, but we figured out what to do for her after a while.
[And back to that other sentence.]
"I don't...know him."
Well, thanks. It doesn't seem like a lot of people know him. [Which is even weirder to Lloyd.]

Does Zelos live here? I'm trying to find him, and you look like you might know him.
no subject
I have no idea who you're talking about, so no.
no subject
because he's way too naive, but yes, exactly!]You sure? You look like somebody that might be friends with him.
[Because looking alike clearly equals possible friends.]
no subject
Why would I bother lying?
[After all, it's not like he knows who Lloyd is, either, or why whoever this Zelos guy is would want to avoid him.]

Just a minute!
[But just because the person behind the door was a girl didn't necessarily mean Zelos wasn't there, did it? ...well, in this case it did, but Zelos wasn't known for his avoidance of women, so hopefully Lloyd would stick around long enough for Mia to open the door.
She blinks when she sees that it's someone she doesn't recognize.]
Oh... hello! Can I help you with something?
no subject
strangefemale roommate, so he knew not to rule this room out just from that response. Or she might know where he lives!...Or she may sorta look like Regal. Huh. Maybe her last name is Bryant?
...RIGHT, TASK AT HAND.]
Yeah! I'm trying to find Zelos! Does he live here?
