Characters: Lloyd, Zelos, and anyone who answers their door
Summary: Lloyd is trying to find Zelos, but he isn't sure where he lives. So it's time to knock on all the doors until he finds him or someone tells him where he lives!
Warnings: None

[Lloyd had been meaning to talk to Zelos ever since he had gotten back to normal, but he had felt weird for a few days after that. With the way he had just shut off the tablet on him last time, Lloyd wasn't going to try contacting him that way. The only problem was, he had no idea which apartment he lived in.

So the only thing to do was to knock on every door until he found him! His dad always told him to start at the beginning, so beginning on the first floor, he's going to check every room until he can find his friend. It's not like they lived on the same floor, right?

Lloyd walks up to the doors and knocks on it, waiting around no more than a minute for someone to either open the door or respond in some way. He can be persistent when he wants, but his attention span still only lasts so long, after all.]

[This is not quite the redhead you're looking for, Lloyd. Asch is looking rather unamused when he opens the door, but at least he's quick about it. He looks Lloyd up and down before folding his arms.]

And what is it you want?

[When Lloyd sees the big flash of red, his face lights up for just a second. Closer inspection showed that this guy is definitely not Zelos. He's pretty sure he would never dress like that, for one.]

Does Zelos live here? I'm trying to find him, and you look like you might know him.

[What, you mean the skin covered from the neck down?]

I have no idea who you're talking about, so no.

[Lloyd wouldn't think of it in those words because he's way too naive, but yes, exactly!]

You sure? You look like somebody that might be friends with him.

[Because looking alike clearly equals possible friends.]

[If Lloyd had said that last bit aloud, it would've qualified for the dumbest thing Asch had ever heard. As it is, the redhead just rolls his eyes.]

Why would I bother lying?

[After all, it's not like he knows who Lloyd is, either, or why whoever this Zelos guy is would want to avoid him.]

I dunno! Zelos has been acting really weird lately, so if you talked to him, maybe he told you to pretend you hadn't.

[bloodyashes]

Again, why would I bother?

[Other people's secrets are not exactly his concern, here.]

I have no idea who you are, either. Whatever business you have with this Zelos is between you two.

[He takes a step back and moves to shut the door.]

I don't know! I've never even seen you before! How am I supposed to know what you're like?!

Oh, right. My name's Lloyd. Who are you?

And yet you'd assume I'm friends with this... Zelos?

[The look he's giving you, Lloyd, it is mostly "are you crazy" with a dash of "and this one wins for the stupidest person here."]

...Asch the Bloody, previously commander of the Special Operations Division of the Oracle Knights, which, I'm sure, means not a damned thing to you anyway.

Well, you sorta look like him! That might be a reason to talk to each other, right?

Uhh... []Nope.] You don't look bloody at all to me. But you're some kind of knight?

[...No, Lloyd, just the opposite. He's got enough idiots with his face in existence, okay.]

[One which was, unfortunately, not earned because of his hair. As for the rest - ]

It's a really weird one. Don't you have a last name or anything?

Oh, cool! So you must know a lot about fighting!

[bloodyashes]

[Almost as soon as the phrase "last name" is out of Lloyd's mouth - ]

No.

[And then the door gets shut in your face, Lloyd. Quite loudly, too. It appears that this conversation is over.]

[Lloyd just stares at the now closed door for a second.]

What was that all about?

[Fine then. With a small frown, he turns and heads for the next door.]
