⚙ [open; building time is a go]
Date & Time: 4/23
Location: the training building
Characters: Leo and OPEN
Summary: Leo'sdestroying tinkering with things
Warnings: None~
Leo had started on ideas to fix up the training building before the first mission, but then he had gotten wrapped up with it, and....well, he got distracted. It happened so easily sometimes, he couldn't help it.
But with the mission over, and a little too much free time on his hands, he got back to work. He had already made a rock climbing wall (one that moved and shot out flames!), so now he was back in the training hall, trying to decide what to work on next.
So if you come in the training hall, you might find a male studying what he thought to be crude devices for training, or you might find him already tinkering on something, more specifically something of yours. Feel the need to bother him?

Pushing her stray hair from her face, she threw him another smirk before throwing the first blow to the dummy. There was a sick sort of satisfaction in her eyes, fleeting as it may be, when the dummy responded to her blows. "Woah..."
Don't mind her, Leo, she's just going to continue beating up that dummy and being amazed when it fights back.

Of course, he saw some flaws in it, little things only a child of Hephaestus would catch, but they weren't big problems. He could fix them later.

"This is awesome..."
She shakes her head as the dummy gets back up.

The dreamy tone hadn't gone unnoticed, which was (perhaps) the only reason she continued to smile at him. He'd be very useful to have as an ally. "Thanks."
no subject
"No problem. It's true." And her smile just make him happier and happier.

Well, here we go now, Leo... Curiosity got the better of her and now all she can think to do is figure out what makes him tick... Other than his love for all the wrong women.

He's gotten past the caring if people knew he was a demigod, too. Several people around this place knew, now, and he wasn't exactly trying to hide it.

Please don't mind her skeptic look, Leo.... You sure you're not hallucinating from tracker jacker venom? Morphling? She's long forgotten about the dummy she was giving a run for its money. No, this is a bit more interesting.

He's used to the skeptic look, and not just when it came to his demigod status. He could prove that just fine. I mean, he could burst into flames. It took real talent to do that, just saying.
no subject
Still with the skepticism. You might just have to prove it to her.

The corners of her lips tugged a little and she couldn't help but laugh. "No way... Now that... That was impressive."

"It's a pretty rare gift, so I'm kind of a big deal." Just keep telling yourself that Leo, but he was important. Just. Not for that.

That was definitely a reason to keep him close, to keep him wrapped around her finger. This kid would be a great ally to have, and she intended to keep him around for a long while.

"None of my siblings have it. The fire thing, I mean. We can all build and make the most awesome stuff, but I'm the only one that can control fire."

It could be, though. Seriously, if the Capitol got ahold of something like this. She glanced back at him, the grin tugging at her lips. "Then you're extra special, huh?"
