Um... well, yeah, I guess you're right. It sounds really nice - [ Wait, why is she thinking of Natsu all of a sudden? He wouldn't like a place like that, it'd be boring! ... but still, a romantic setting, maybe a slow dance and -- UH. ]

I think that's it there! [ Lucy you came out here to STOP thinking about Natsu. STOPPIT. She focuses her attention on a map in her hands, checking her bearings. ]

[If only Juvia knew she was thinking of him, she might stop pestering her a lot less. To a certain extent.

She looks to lucy. Then back up at the bar. Then to Lucy again]

[ Lucy will never tell. E V E R. And she's lucky Juvia doesn't have telepathy like Sohki does. Sigh. Studying the map again, she glances back to Juvia. ]

There doesn't seem to be any music playing. [Or the kind of music she thought there would be anyway] Where's the man in the tuxedo?

Um... [ Lucy glances around hesitantly, because... there's no chandeliers anywhere. Not even a glass one! And no cushy lounge chairs, or glamorous dance floors or anything. ]

Maybe... Maybe we're early! [ .. though it was at least eight o'clock, shouldn't that be right about when the music and whatnot starts? ]

[Juvia thinks this ain't no fancy place at all, but they were already here...]

Juvia guesses we should find a place to sit down then, if we wait a bit longer something might happen.

[ It's the 'something' that might happen that worries her. c.c; The place looked kinda seedy. ]

Actually, maybe we should try another bar? [ One that didn't look like they were going to get a disease if they sat down. . . okay it wasn't THAT bad. But when Lucy turns to head back to the door, a group of overly muscled (Seriously where are their NECKS), tattoo'd men saunter into the room. ]

On second thought, maybe we SHOULD sit down. [ Let's not draw attention! D: She scurries further into the room, ready to drag Juvia if need be. To her dismay, one of the men stays by the door as if guarding it, while his two companions scan the room as if looking for someone. Perhaps for Trouble. And they're making it double. ]

[The fact that she is starting to get dragged by Lucy to a table makes her stumble a little in walk, and confuses her to say in the least. Especially since Juvia catches a glimpse of the muscular tattooed men as well.

Why were they staying now? The easier thing to do might have been to push them out of the way and make a run for it.

Oh man, this was going to be trouble, she knew it. And she had to wear her most classy dress too!]

Miss Lucy...is there something you're not telling Juvia?

[DID YOU GET INTO A FIGHT WITH THESE DUDES BEFORE ~~FOR GRAY-SAMA~~? ARE THEY OUT FOR REVENGE?]

[ Lucy would like to -avoid- attention, Juvia! She's hoping that they'll find who they're looking for and leave, and they can sneak out the door with no one the wiser. ]

[ Oh Juvia, the things she doesn't tell you could fill a very very short book. ]

I was just thinking we should give this place a chance. You know it... it might be nicer than we're giving it credit for. Why don't I get us some drinks?

[ No don't do it Lucy! They'll see you! Or Juvia, and then what will happen. ~~Horrible thiiiiiings~~. ]

But who are those men?

[Juvia was the someone who didn't exactly mind strange things but...they seemed more shady than anything else, this whole placed gave off that vibe. The tattooed guys also looked like they wanted to fight.

Regardless, Juvia slowly nods]

Juvia will sit down then [She points] somewhere over there.

[If Juvia didn't know better, she'd swear Lucy was purposefully dragging her into trouble!]

[ She doesn't know who those guys are! They just made her uneasy. She didn't like the idea of leaving Juvia to sit at the table alone, but hey, it wouldn't take that long to get drinks right? ... And she is not purposefully dragging Juvia into trouble! ~~Her mun is, though >8D~~ ]

Okay... be careful. Try not to draw attention to yourself.

[ Easier said than done considering they're both dressed rather classy and...they kind of stick out like sore thumbs here because of it. ]

[Ah never mind. They really were making everyone uneasy, or just her and Lucy. Luckily Juvia is able to defend for herself so she isn't -too- worried, but still. ~~Bad mun, bad!~~]

Juvia's not sure she wants to, to be honest.

[Draw attention to herself that is. She tugs at her dress awkwardly as she takes her seat at a random table. Yeah, everyone is already staring. Hurry back, Lucy!]

[ Definitely just Juvia and Lucy. Between the two of them they would probably be able to handle themselves, but those guys looked pretty tough! ~~/whimpers like a puppeh~~ ]

Yeah really. Anyway, I'll be back as quick as I can. Keep an eye on the door, maybe we can make a dash for it when it's clear.

[ There's music now, but it sadly isn't anything like classical music. However, Lucy gets to her feet, smoothing the fabric of her dress and pads quickly over to the counter, her skin prickling at the attention she and her blue haired friend are starting to get. Just so long as no one DOES anything about those stares, we're aaaaaaall okay. ... ]

[ Suffice to say not even a minute after Lucy got up, a man that looked like he wandered away from a gym and had five times the steroids on top of that, slides into the seat Lucy had vacated. He clicks his tongue and winks at Juvia, making the hand-gun gesture as he pointed at her. Classy. ]

Hey there, little lady; What's a pretty blue rose like yourself doing in a place like this? It's not safe for delicate pearls such as yourselves. Good thing you've got a nice guy like me to look out for your type. What's your name, sweet thing?

Juvia will.

[And just as Lucy leaves, the muscle head walks right over and sits in Lucy's spot. Cue for inner flailing as she leans back away from the table. Who the hell was he? OH GOD NOW WOULD BE A PERFECT TIME FOR GRAY TO BE HERE]

...W-What?! Um. I...Juvia...doesn't think-!!!

[DAMN YOU LOVE RIVAL]

[ SO FAR NO GOOD. The two lunkheads are still standing on either side of the door, their precious emergency exit. Lucy scans the room briefly, but the line to the ladies room is ridiculously long. They -could- go in the men's room and climb out the window, but the prospect was actually terrifying. How dirty it must be! Her back is still to the table Juvia is at, so she doesn't notice the water mage's distress ...yet. ]

[ Meanwhile the man across from Juvia only grins widely, tilting his head one way then the other, and eliciting nasty sounding pops from his neck. ]

That's ALL right with me, baby, you can let me do ALL the thinking for you from now on. [ Her flustered flailing is just so adorable, it's CLEARLY because he is such a catch. Such a catch that he drags up a bit of plegm from the back of his throat and spits it on the floor. . .On. The. Floor. ]

Juvia huh? I guess that's all right, my delicious little corn muffin. [ He paffs his fist against his chest with a loud THUMP. ]

My buddy an' I noticed you and your cute friend when you came in. M'name's TANK(Tm). And I'm gonna be your man. You can thank me later. I'm a real prize catch.

[ Throw him back. THROW HIM BACK. ]

[...Ew. He just spit on the floor, didn't he? And what was all this 'Baby' and 'Corn Muffin' talk? All right, her flusterness is starting to turn into annoyance. Juvia crosses her arms with a huff and puffs her cheek out. She's just...so glaring daggers at him now]

Juvia doesn't like how you're talking to her. With all due respect, you and your friend can go kiss Gray-sama's perfect butt.

[~~OH BURN.~~ Juvia raises her hand, she might be preparing for a Water Lock. So much for keeping a low profile, but it's not like they weren't already being harassed]

[ Meep. Gal's got some fiah to her. He holds up both hands placatingly. With a touch of amusement. ]

Hey hey hey whoah, sweetums, I think we got off on the wrong foot here! [ Tank(tm), gotta remember the (tm) pronouncing it is difficult waves a hand. ]

I ain't tryin' to get all up in some other dude's gal (this time). You here with your Gray? Where he at, huh? [ He glances around curiously, even warily. Bah, he can handle whatever happens. ]

No, seriously. There really was. I think his name was Dave. Good guy. Kind of odd, though. Always walked around wearing oven mitts. Sometimes he wore nothing BUT oven mitts. Wow. He was REALLY odd, now that I think of it. Dude liked his oven mitts.

[ MEANWHILE, over by the counter, Lucy is happily waiting for her drinks to arrive, figuring they could at least get something to go. Glancing over her shoulder, she notes to her surprise and delight that the way to the door is -CLEAR-. Perfect! She turns to try to signal Juvia, about the same time her drinks arrive, but lo and behold, there is a sudden lean fellow practically leaning in her occupied space. Rude. She doesn't like the way he's looking at her, OR the fact that he takes it upon himself to just pay for her drinks. But while she's protesting this supposedly gentlemanly action, she freezes for a second when he leans in closer, apparently whispering something - something that has her flush bright red, slap him right across the face hard enough for the 'CRACK' of the slap to be heard even over the music (drawing a few glances and snickers). Then to add insult to injury, the infuriated wizard dumps the contents of her drink over his head, stalking towards Juvia's table. The generous soul, still reeling from her violent reaction, stumbles back into a patron, who spills HIS beer on ANOTHER patron and it's... it's sort of a domino effect from there. Needless to say, there is going to be a crowd of unhappy patrons in a few minutes. Lucy, however, isn't paying any mind to the chaos she inadvertently caused - or that the man she slapped was glaring after her and shoving someone aside to follow. She hurt his feelings! ]

Well...Gray-sama isn't here yet, or not even...

[BAW this all feELS weird and sad to say. Juvia can take things far too seriously at times, but she knows what this Tank(tm) guy is getting at. She really shouldn't say anything at all, should she? At the very least, his terrible poem stops her in her preparation to use Water Lock on him and she lowers her hand just a tiny bit.

Mitts? What is he even saying? Maybe Gray-sama could wear mitts and....wait]

Juvia doesn't think that's a very good poem at all! Who wears mitts any more?

[GAWD TANK(TM). ELEGANCE. Juvia has yet to notice the whole domino effect Lucy caused, she's too busy busting this guy's chops]

[ Oh Juvia, you shouldn't have said that. Now he thinks he has a Chance(tm)! He grins. Big. ]

Really? Not here you say? Then I'm gonna go right on ahead what with declarin' my intentions, sweetheart. [ That poor attempt at suaveness is cut short by Juvia tearing down the walls of his so carefully crafted poem of LOOOOOVE. Or what was supposed to be such. ]

Oh cupcake! You cut me to the quick! Man, I mean, dude that's so not cool! Mitts are ALL IN - they're ALL about the man! Every-

[ At this point, Lucy's reached the table, skirting a glance behind her now and again. Yep, that guy was annoyed at the treatment she gave him. GOOD. She didn't care, she has her spirits, and Juvia to watch her back! Yeah! (And a certain stalker, but shh) ]

Juvia, let's go okay? Ah-

[ She's about to ask who her new friend is, when Tank(tm) interrupts her, slouching back a little to look the blonde up and down, then Juvia, in the same fashion. Hrm. Hrmmm. ]

Too much for Carter to handle huh? Ha! That's rich! But where are you two off to in such a - [ He breaks off here abruptly to dodge someone's mug of half full booze. WTF is going on back there! ]

[And she complains about getting in trouble when he's around! Then again that's just like Lucy to get herself into such predicaments. Interesting as it might have been to watch it all unfold from a smudged up window, he noted the two idiots who tried to put the moves on them. He'd stalked the two girls from the shadows and from above ever since they met up but until now he had no reason to interfere. Natsu wasn't one for stealth either but he knew Lucy would be livid with him if she knew her girls night out had turned into a girls with a silent watchful guardian angel of firey mayhem' night out]

[Without another word he smashes his way into the back room of the bar when Lucy walked away. When the barkeep went to investigate, Natsu took him down with a head to his face. By the time he'd gotten behind the counter, the creeps had already dropped their pretenses. Those pig faced bastards! He grabs the first thing at hand, the half emptied mug and throws it right at Tank's head! He should be thankful he didn't light the damn thing before he threw it. Though that would give him away instantly.]

Intentions? [NOOOO Her heart only belongs to Gray-sama! Well whatever the case, it's got her in an arguing mood to yell about mitts with a stranger] Juvia doesn't think that's true at all! They're not even- Miss Lucy?

[Now she's cut short by Lucy intruding...running towards her. Why? Juvia looks behind her and sees the bar in a chaotic fight. Beer bottles and fists are flying everywhere, just like in Fairy Tail. Only the people are more shady.

Oh! Now there goes a beer mug right at Tank's head (courtesy of Natsu, but she doesn't know that yet). She takes this opportunity to tug at Lucy and, hitting Tank with a stream of water, drag her along to the exit]
