[It's kind of late. Sheena knows this, but she doesn't really care. She hesitates before knocking quietly on the door to Zelos' apartment. Hopefully she can catch him before he's left for the night shift. If not, she'll just leave the food and go, and they can talk later. Or never.

But... there's something nagging at her. She hasn't been entirely reasonable with him lately, and this is the best she can do for an apology.

Her grip on the edges of the covered bowl tightens slightly. She looks to the side, waiting for someone to answer the door.]

[He snorts and grabs a coaster from the center of the table, setting it so it's half off the edge. He then closes his eyes and slaps the half that's off the table hard enough so it goes flying back over him- right before catching it with his other hand behind his back like a true asshole angel]

[... That shit is amazing. She straightens in her chair, trying to figure out how the fuck he just did that. /Whoa/.]

How-- how does that even work?

[fujibayashi]

[wilder]

[He snickers before doing the trick again!]

[fujibayashi]

[And she's just as surprised and amazed as the first time.]

There has to be some trick to it. Show me how!

[Omg Sheena. He looks pretty amused]

I'm pretty sure it's not a trick you could do.

[She huffs.]

Wanna bet? I could give you a close shave with a throwing knife.

Hey hey- no need to throw threats!

Alright, it's mostly calculation. I estimate the proper force needed to get the a steep enough projectile arch. And then from there I guess its falling speed to estimate how fast it'll fall and when's a good time to catch it!

[A beat]

That and I listen for it.

[fujibayashi]

[That goes right over her head. It's not that she's dumb, but come on. Math? Applying math to things that isn't buying groceries or fighting odds? Please.]

... Yeah, uh... sure. That makes sense.

[wilder]

[Shut up Math is BEAUTIFUL and the best thing ever and for the love of god no one ever teach this guy how to play pool]

Then okay! [Holding out the coaster for her!] Give it a shot!

[... She's in for it now. Sheena looks incredibly unsure, but she reaches out and takes the coaster regardless. Like Zelos, she sets it half on the table and half-not, and then smacks it with the side of her hand.

It flips up once, twice, then suddenly finds itself pulled into the gravitational field that is Sheena's boobs.

Cue flailing and throwing the damn thing on the floor.]

S-stupid thing!

[wilder]

[And he was watching that, half expecting her to fail to even get it higher than a couple inches- but then it falls on her cleavage and- wow she's flailing and-]

[Okay, that? Is the sound of Zelos actually laughing just from the sheer ridiculousness of her reaction]

Wow. Uh- hey good first try!

[Sheena's not too happy about that, and she's embarrassed and everything else, but Zelos' laugh surprises her. She hasn't heard that since they were on the journey, and definitely not as honest as that was.

She stares for longer than is polite. The blush continues to creep across her face.]

[And then she throws the coaster at his chest.]

O-okay, fine, so it's harder than it looks! I listened just like you did and I couldn't hear a thing.

[wilder]

[And the staring makes him awkward and sort of realize what he was doing. Whoa that probably sounds weird and uncool, so he'll clear his throat and stop]

[Just in time to let the coaster hit his chest, and bounce off it! But he'll catch it before it hits his lap]

Well yeah, I know you couldn't hear it.

[... slow... headtilt.]

... Just how good is your hearing?

[wilder]

[She never tells him anything either but that's neither here nor there.]

Emil knew! So I thought maybe the other Zelos might've mentioned it or something...!

[fujibayashi]

[She shakes her head.] I haven't even seen the first year of the world regeneration! We're friends but we didn't exactly--

-- Wait, just how much could you hear? I was right on the other side of the wall! For months!
