OPEN LOG
Date & Time: September 1 - 3, Evening or Night hours
Location: Transport Clinic
Characters: Zelos/Kaneis and you!
Summary: Evening/Night shift at the clinic. All welcomed, whether they be checking out the clinic, working at the clinic or that unfortunate dude who put their weapon in a very wrong spot.
Warnings: PG-13 for language and possible gore since hey IT IS A CLINIC.
[No matter how strange Zelos's life get, he can always count on his clinic shifts being one of two things: incredibly boring or incredibly strange. There was no middle ground.]
[Any night that you come in, you'll probably find Zelos sitting at the reception desk, with his feet on top if none of his bosses are around. If he's not attending to any patients or talking to staff, he seems to be reading- looks like the flavor of this month for literature is fantasy. And sometimes, he even seems to be talking to the book]
Oh come on Buttercup my beautiful flower, there's no way he'll actually release him. Jeez...
[And so on. Rest assured guys, this is a professional medic here. You can tell by the lab coat. ]

[Lancelot raised Flora up and left with her, apathetic. He left with her peacefully enough, less concerned for the argument.]

no subject
She's not trying not to limp, shhh.]
Ka--ow. [She raises a hand to her as if to touch her swelling cheek, but stops short of actually doing it, because, yeah, that's not going to help. Talking bad. Talking hurts her face. And man does she ever have a headache.]
no subject
Flora? What are you doing here?
no subject
Okay, maybe it is a tiny bit of a thang. She winces, but doesn't let that stop her.]
I wanted to say I'm sorry.
no subject
Uh...shouldn't you be treated first? What happened to the other hospital?
no subject
She speaks slowly, carefully, each word deliberate out of necessity.]
I wanted to come here. [Lancelot would have to deal with it.] But I can...page someone else if that isn't okay.
no subject
I mean, so long as your little friend doesn't kill me for it.
no subject
[She looks like she wants to say a bunch of different things, but she decides to settle for what's most important, for the moment.]
He won't. [She says seriously, and not without a measure of guilt.] I promise.
no subject
[VERY RUDE ABOUT IT TOO.]
But alright. Come over here so I can heal you.
no subject
...Sorry.
[AND THE MOST UNSURPRISED, APOLOGETIC FACE. HE'S VERY RUDE, EVEN TO HER, SOMETIMES. OFTEN. KIND OF A LOT.
Flora follows dutifully, head hanging a little lowly. She'll apologise again when her face no longer feels she took a sledgehammer to it.]
no subject
Don't worry, death threats hardly keep me up at night.
[And he concentrates, yadda yadda you know how magic works, until yes. He finishes the spell and there's sparkles around her head fixing up the injury]
no subject
even if it might not her, but that's her and not other people she cares about okay, totally different, when the magic happens. She sighs happily, patting her once-again normal cheek. She pokes at places on her arms where they're covered, too, and nothing! Not even the dullest of throbs.]
Oh wow, that's amazing! I feel good as new, thank you, Kaneis. [Or slightly refurbished, anyway. In a good way--the constant pressure on her mind feels lighter. It won't last, and she'll bear it as she always does, but it's a welcome relief. ]
no subject
No problem! Just one of my many gifts.
ALMOST FORGOT ABOUT THIS ONE
Flora snaps her fingers, and a compact mirror appears. She checks her face in it, confirming how she feels. Ahh, back to normal! This is great.
She smiles and claps it shut, and it disappears the same way in came, in a sparkly poof.]
Is that so? What else can you do?
GJ
Heh heh...now why would I spoil that surprise!
[It's better for you to find out in a week when I almost kill you]
SHHHH I REMEMBERED
Hmmmm...well, I suppose I can appreciate a little mystery, sometimes.
[Pfft, more like the day you get into an unwitting bondage scenario.]
no subject
[sigh and it wasn't even the fun kind of bondage scenario?]
no subject
She clears her throat.]
S-something like that, yeah.
[Better luck next time, bro.]
no subject
Exactly.
Anyway, you should be okay now- so you probably shouldn't leave your guy waiting.
no subject
Anyway, I'm sorry that he got on your case...what did he say?
no subject
[He shrugs]
Oh you know, that I'm a fraud who uses hypnotism to get any credentials and threatened to kill me. Usual magic-phobic crap.
no subject
No, that's just isn't right. It doesn't excuse what he's done, but I'll talk to him about it. You shouldn't have had to put up with that at all, and I'm especially grateful for your help, knowing that.
no subject
[He snorts] Did I say it excuses it? As far as I'm concerned, if he's gonna act like that he can keep his righteous ass out of the clinic.
no subject
No, you didn't, I didn't mean to imply that. [She folds a hand over another in front of her and nods.] I understand.
(no subject)
wow why are you up so early
because my futon decided to be EVIL
