OPEN LOG
Date & Time: September 1 - 3, Evening or Night hours
Location: Transport Clinic
Characters: Zelos/Kaneis and you!
Summary: Evening/Night shift at the clinic. All welcomed, whether they be checking out the clinic, working at the clinic or that unfortunate dude who put their weapon in a very wrong spot.
Warnings: PG-13 for language and possible gore since hey IT IS A CLINIC.
[No matter how strange Zelos's life get, he can always count on his clinic shifts being one of two things: incredibly boring or incredibly strange. There was no middle ground.]
[Any night that you come in, you'll probably find Zelos sitting at the reception desk, with his feet on top if none of his bosses are around. If he's not attending to any patients or talking to staff, he seems to be reading- looks like the flavor of this month for literature is fantasy. And sometimes, he even seems to be talking to the book]
Oh come on Buttercup my beautiful flower, there's no way he'll actually release him. Jeez...
[And so on. Rest assured guys, this is a professional medic here. You can tell by the lab coat. ]

Zelos get out of Alvin's clothing. You'll confuse him :(
He hasn't given up on looking for a way out of this world, but he's also realizing there's only so much time you can dedicate to sitting around trying to think up possible escape methods, and sometimes you need something else to occupy your free time. Besides, even if he's got his own world to take care of, that doesn't mean he doesn't still want to offer the people here what help he can, so...
Here he was ready to volunteer his time, only to come across this guy.
He's not exactly sure what he's reading, but Jude approaches the desk and clears his throat. ]
Excuse me.
No. Alvin lied about it being a one of a kind scarf
Yo. How can I help you?
Are you trying to suggest Alvin is a liar? PERISH THE THOUGHT!
And wow, this guy isn't even planning on fully putting the book down? Jude's not entirely sure what he thinks about that, but he's sure he'd be given hell for something like that when on clinic duty. He's still managing a smile here. ]
This is the Transport clinic, right?
MAYBE I AM!!
And what he doesn't want to go digging for a bookmark for you Jude. Not unless he needs to sew something back on]
That's right. Is there something we can help you with- you don't seem you're injured...
HOW COULD YOU? SWEET INNOCENT ALVIN OF ALL PEOPLE!
BECAUSE I AM A TERRIBLE PERSON

She pauses, considers the feet on the desk, then arches a brow. Professional]
Buttercup?

Oh- character in the book. There's some evil guy that's captured her true love or whatever, and she's all 'I'll marry you evil guy if you let him go!'
You know, like that's actually going to happen.
no subject
[she rolls her eyes, moving closer to lean against the desk] Of course it won't. Does it ever?

...Are you reading The Princess Bride.
[Turning to find someone looking very, very relaxed, Asbel manages a grin.]
Better not let Cheria catch you doing that, Kaneis.
[He can't imagine anyone else around here being scarier when angry.]
mebbe B)
Don't worry, I think I got it figured out how to hear her coming.
[Is he being serious or just saying that, who knows]
You got sucked into hauling supplies again, huh?
Good choice, bro.
[Maybe he really does, but to Asbel, it seems just a little farfetched. Unless he means after she starts yelling at him, in which case anyone could hear that.]
Well actually, since I was headed this way anyhow, I sort of volunteered.
[Or maybe the idea was suggested to him. Or maybe it was a combination of the two. The funny part is: Asbel doesn't even work for the clinic.]
So, what are you reading? Something about plants? [He'd mentioned buttercups before...]

*... Zelos, you're pretty sure someone with an arm that bloody is NOT SUPPOSED TO BE SO CHIPPER.*
Kinda skinned myself a little on one arm while building a fan, so~
no subject
That's a skinned?! What did you do, shove it into the blades?
no subject
Er, something like that, yes.
Cheria's got good spells for this, but...

Evening
It turned out that Lancelot still had the inborn habit of striking at one's vitals and hitting Flora straight in the temple with the flat of the wooden sword did more than just knock her out--it gave way to a nasty looking bruise which he scarcely bandaged up properly.
Arriving at the clinic, Lancelot held Flora in his arms, staring towards the receptionist with the appearance of someone who believed the parcel he held in his hands spoke much more than his mouth needed to.]
no subject
Flora?
[He immediately puts down the book (not really caring about Lancelot's judging look) and stands up to head around the desk]
What happened?
no subject
She was struck in the temple by a wooden sword and knocked unconscious while we were training. I assume this will require better medical assistance than my untrained hands may be able to provide.

sometimes they knocked you back. so riku stumbled into the clinic, a hand clapped over his left ear, dizzy. stellaluna circled around him worriedly, warbling and leading the way for him to get to the front desk. it was difficult to really stay upright, and riku shook his head idly as he walked, trying to focus and not let his eyes glaze over.
he was... somewhat unhurt. most of him was just fine, but then there were obvious burns, though he didn't seem to pay attention to them. ]
Uh-- [ wait hold on he knew that scent--it was like a massive dose of megaelixir. weakly; ] Kaneis? I didn't know you worked here.
no subject
Uh, yeah. I'm one of the people on the nightshift.
What happened to you?
no subject
[ he mutters blearily. he's aware kaneis said something--he could hear a muffled sound next to him that sounded suspiciously of syllables and he groans. ]
I--I can't hear.
