WALMART
So the Dan finds themselves in a Walmart! One of the Super ones, so it's huge and more likely than not has everything anyone could ever want. You could live in this thing. So what do you do?
Well, Mary finds her way over to the area for more intimate equipment and has discovered yet another back massager ("back massager"). And is, expectedly, cooing over it like it's the coolest thing in the world.]

What are you doing?
no subject
Shintaro, look...! Hey, isn't this really cool?
no subject
Put it down, Mary. Like. Really. Please.
no subject
...? Why?
no subject
Because it's not a toy, and if you break it, we'll run out of money we need to buy everything else trying to pay for it!
no subject
is the sentiment, anyway, one Shintaro is doubtless familiar with. If she breaks this, then they'll have to replace it. If they have to replace it, that costs money. If they have to spend money, they can't get any of the other things they want or need, which is definitely infinitely more important than just those things they want, and it would be her fault? Everyone will blame her for it. This is the opposite of what she wanted.
So of course she panics.]
E-Ee -- uu... S-Sorry...! Sorry, Shintaro! Um, I'll put it back right now...!
[Which she does, and expectedly does nearly stumble doing so, but because I don't hate everyone, she manages okay actually putting it where she found it.]
no subject
[He starts after her when he sees her stumble, but when he realizes that she's okay he breathes a sigh of relief and grabs her (gently) by her arm, starting to pull her in another direction. Groceries. Yeah. Groceries.]
D-don't worry about it. But you should also stick closer to everyone too, okay?
no subject
[She makes a surprised little noise when he takes her by the arm, but doesn't seem otherwise upset and just sort of goes along with it. He has a point. She's having fun in this store, but if everyone were to leave without her...
Yes. Definitely better to at least hang around someone.]
Sorry about that, Shintaro... I don't want to get lost.
[So far, so good, we'd say. Up until ]
Do you think I could find a map for this store...?
no subject
[He lets go of her once she's keeping up, patting her shoulder and leading the way.]
Do you have any food you want to eat?
no subject
[She thinks hard on the question of food, though. She definitely had enough time to form preferences, but since she didn't really need anything... was it all right for them to waste money on her?]
No... I'll just get some tea.
no subject
... Do you need a coat, by the way? You get cold easily right?
[all the worries.]
no subject
[She looks around for a bit, eyebrows furrowed slightly in the beginnings of a troubled expression, then grabs... let's say some of those chocolate cakes with the creme filling? Hostess or Little Debbie or whatever. A little hastily, but the art on the box makes them look nice. She can share with Momo.]
Does it get really cold here? It's okay right now.
no subject
The temperature on the moon is actually really cold. The base keeps it controlled, but it's probably best you've got something really warm in case there's a malfunction.
no subject
That's... pretty scary... would that happen, Shintaro? I'll get a jacket...!
no subject
[Headpats for the fretting medusa girl.]
But get a jacket. It's cold around here.
no subject
[Which she does. Whenever they head over to that portion of the store, she grabs a cute (but very bulky) pink one in a child's size -- a perfect fit for her.]
Does this one look okay?
no subject
You should see if it's warm enough first.

So, did you find something you like?
no subject
[She demonstrates by flipping the "on" switch." The head of the massager starts vibrating and moving around!]
It moves! Isn't that really cool?
no subject
I've never seen one like this either! Here, you wanna try it?
no subject
[Although she was definitely in a swell mood a few moments ago, she still manages to perk up noticeably when she hears that question. Playing with it was one thing, but actually getting to use it was just --]
Is that okay...? Is it okay for me to try it, Seto?
no subject
[No, please don't. Please.]
no subject
So she hands it on off to Seto and turns so that her back's facing him. SHE'S READY FOR HER MASSAGE, MR FORESTMAN.]
no subject
Forestman, yes, but he's not a lolicon! Seriously! This is a back massager.]
Is it too strong?
