The Day of the Full Moon
Being aware is different from stopping it, and though he sets out early in the morning almost in a daze, head swimming with thoughts and emotions, none of them good, he slips away at some point. The Scott McCall who remains is a mere facsimile of the one normally present. He’s the one who acts almost as a complete contradiction to his normal behavior. He’s still Scott—still undeniably Scott McCall, no matter how unfortunate that may be—but there’s one present and pounding idea in his head: there’s no hope.
There’s no control.
It’s like a crushing, overwhelming weight that he can’t deny. If he were in a clearer state of mind, he’d be able to pinpoint the source. (He already has, after all; it all comes back to her. It all comes back to Allison.) But the name Allison is only the instigator of another string of emotions and a reminder of what he’s lost. He’s gained so much—things are better is what he told Erica—but he’s lost so much, too. They all have.
And rather than repressing the thoughts that usually surge up, he seems to be acting on them—all of them.
In a haze, he sets out to find the ones he wants to speak to the most: Allison, Lydia, Isaac … perhaps there are others, too. It feels like he can hear his heartbeat pounding in his ears as he makes this decision. That sound does the exact opposite of offering him any clarity.]

The Full Moon
Things are rarely ever that simple.]

Erica || up to the turn and beyond
Her hands shake and it reminds her too much of an oncoming seizure. The tremble of muscle that can't quite control the rest of her body. Erica holds onto herself, trying to contain that shake, that unease that drags through her like nails on a chalkboard. She can feel that vibration on bone, the hum of something she can't pin down.
She paces the room, knowing that she's supposed to meet Isaac somewhere, but she's not sure she's ready to leave where she's at. Not yet. Of course, she knows waiting around until it's too late isn't going to be smart either.
Every breath she takes is measured as she feels that oncoming shift, the fact that she hasn't felt it in so long definitely is making things difficult. She steps into where she's meant to meet Isaac and wrings her hands together, the tension wrought through her.]

The day after
The other Peter had helped with that. A lot, actually. And they somehow miraculously got out of there alive and without killing anyone- how is a little beyond him at this point. Still, they survived and that's good. Isaac is exhausted though, mentally, physically, emotionally and he really wants nothing more than to go home and curl up in bed for days.
If every month turns out to be like this, he's really not sure how they're actually going to survive here.]
