that thought process is playing fairly plainly on his face, head tilted to a side, eyes squinting a little, mouth quirking on one side...it's not something he's aware he's doing in the moment, only shaking out of it when he feels a need to scratch at the bridge of his nose.

he straightens out of that, giving a tiny shake of his head, smiling a little painfully, apologetically. drifting...sorry.]

[standing at the threshold of moving bodies, Jericho's mouth tugs on one side before glancing over at Sol and his statement.

neither of them being that great? doesn't bode the best, but...he's pretty sure he can do this thing.

he points to himself and nods before offering his hands out to him.]

[Sollux half-smiles and takes Jericho's hands, assuming that since the other didn't take the lead that he doesn't mind if Sollux does.]

[Sollux quickly looks back to some of the dancing crowd, and tries to mimic their hand placements. There's some people doing things with hands on the other's hips, but Sollux thinks Jericho might be embarrassed with something like that, so instead he just takes the other's hands in his as they face each other.]
