for Collette

[ continuing..]

Ah, but you are the one wearing it. So the credit goes to you, I think! [She laughs, amused by herself, and absently-mindedly brushes some of Collette's glitter off of one of her arms. She stares at the sparkles on her hand for a moment before remembering that yes, she is in the middle of a conversation.]

No! I am not sure what you are referring to. But if you would like to explain! I would enjoy that, I think.
whatsupcroc: (☇ laugh: you did not just do that)

Yeah, you're right about that! Thanks to Minato first, and then me, for not changing size since he took all his measurements.

( Collette bites down on her lip, watching Nananea and having to blink before focusing on what's eventually -- not precisely asked. Yet asked nonetheless. )

I'm not a big history geek, so I can't tell you all that much about them. There might be some stuff in the library? You never know! Romans were big for plumbing, gladiator fights, togas, a senate, and also being a really big empire.

Ah! A precursor empire. Historical figures! That is certainly enough information for me to start my research.

[She sighs and for a split second looks a little gloomy; but she's soon smiling again, even chuckling quietly.]

You know, I am beginning to think I will never know all there is to know about humans.
whatsupcroc: (☇ curious: what's that you said?)

Most humans don't know half of what there is to know about humans. We have people who study people, just to know more about people! Do you have anything like that with your people, too? 'Cause I wonder, do you know everything about... wait, now I'm really feeling rude. What do you call your species?
