This don't look like Mar Sara [Open]
Date and Time: The 18th after 5pm
Location: Area around the housing units
Characters: Jim Raynor and anyone who notices him
Summary: Jim has just arrived and needs a place to remove his marine armor and a drink. The second probably more than the first.
Warnings: Someone needs a drink.
By the time Jim was briefed on what was going on he was irritated. Pulled right before storming Mengsk's damn ship for this was frustrating. Sure it was for a good cause but the timing sucked. After all of that he needed a drink, damn shame it didn't look like there was a bar around.
There was an apartment building he had a room saved for him, and probably going right there and taking off the damn tactical marine armor would have been a good move, but this was Egon's territory and he wasn't there to be harmless and overwhelmed and use small words Jim could understand.
"Damn, Earth of all places and I can't find a decent place to get drunk."

Time rolled by as she moved down the street before the flickering lights of one of the tavens came into sight. Her boots came to a stop a few metres from the entrance. With a gesture towards the entrance, she finally turned her cool green gaze back over to his armoured form. "Here."

"What sort of a place is it? Ah who cares, as long as it ain't a tomb."
With that he started into the place.

He shrugged a bit.

There weren't many people in there, just a few scattered around quietly drinking by themselves. Much like the city itself, it seemed to be an area for those who were lost. She gracefully slipped onto the bar stool. There was no need for a gesture to gain attention. The fact that there was a woman there was enough, but given the one who followed in afterwards, it was easily gained.
"An ale," she told the man behind the bar.

"Barkeep, whiskey if you got it. If not, whatever you use to forget that rain."

Her drink arrived first, the foam of it crawling over the edge of the thick glass. "Mmm drinking with an unknown man in a suit of armour. I haven't done that for a few weeks, " Elza murmured before reaching out for her drink to take it in hand. Raising it up in his direction, she smiled at the mysterious man beside her. "So, tell me abotu yourself."

Raising her large glass, she took a dainty sip of the amber liquid. "You'd be guessing correctly right with that." But whether she was referring to the local ghost or not being from these parts, she'd let him take his pick.

He shrugs at that and takes a long pull from his drink.

"Then here's to those poor bastards. Hopefully they lived in far less interesting times than this."
