Date & Time: 18th, beginning at 2100 hours, through to the 20th.
Location: All around Exsilium.
Characters: Everyone!
Summary: The United Earth decides Exsilium had obviously not learned its lesson back in October, and does another round of humble-making bombing for those impertinent exiles. OOC info can be found here.
Warnings: Violence, death, general gloom and doom.

The warning had gone out approximately two hours before the bombing began, broadcast to any available receptor on the island: UE aggressions incoming, bombs expected; please proceed to Catacombs immediately. It repeats over and over, right up until the first bomb, aimed at the Hold itself, silences the signal.

The air is thick with smoke and worse. Every one to two hours another bomb shakes the island. Buildings crumble and shatter, but the focus is on the Hold and the native hospital. Initiative employees, some sick as anyone else, are steadfast in their escorting natives and transports alike into the underground catacombs. For two days the bombs continue ceaselessly, dropped by their cloaked and invisible carriers overhead.

The United Earth is nothing if not thorough.

[He shrugs. Honestly he was just commenting on her getup, but nothing more than that.]

Wouldn't hurt to know someone who's versed in medicine, I s'pose, at least not in this place.

[His lips curl up as he chuckles.]

Not all the time, I hope. [ That can't be too healthy anyway. ] Bet you pissed the hell out of your doctor.

Couldn't afford one, so it's not like that mattered. Pissed the hell out of whoever was looking after me, though.

[Some unlucky townsfolk in the lower quarter that got stuck with him for that day after he went and caused hell. Then again, with how long he's raised hell there, it was a daily occurrence. All he was was trouble to them.]

[ At that, she bursts out laughing. ]

What are you, some kind of brawler?

[ Though— ]

I used to know a guy like that, though. He'd get himself into so much trouble all the time, it became a pain to have to patch him up.

Guess I could never stay away from fights, so yeah.

[And then he chuckles -- guys like him aren't exactly rare. Some people just enjoy finding the trouble when they can.]

Well, guys like us enjoy trouble -- keeps things exciting.

Ah, so it's like... [ she gestures a wide loop. ] Everyday a new injury!

Pretty much. Nothing's ever dull with me. Not sure if that's a good thing or a bad thing.
