Summary: Sheena's checking in like she promised.

[It's kind of late. Sheena knows this, but she doesn't really care. She hesitates before knocking quietly on the door to Zelos' apartment. Hopefully she can catch him before he's left for the night shift. If not, she'll just leave the food and go, and they can talk later. Or never.

But... there's something nagging at her. She hasn't been entirely reasonable with him lately, and this is the best she can do for an apology.

Her grip on the edges of the covered bowl tightens slightly. She looks to the side, waiting for someone to answer the door.]

[Her eyebrows rise. Really? He doesn't mind, even after all that? EVEN AFTER SHE SOCKED HIM PHYSICALLY AND EMOTIONALLY? There's a trace of hesitation, but she eventually makes up her mind and sits back down at the table.]

... Thanks.

[If he's looking, he might see a little smile.]

[wilder]

[he notices that smile and he looks away a bit, rubbing the spot he got socked and trying not to look sheepish or anything- goddess how embarrassing. ]

Heh, sure.

[There's another pause before he speaks]

They're really nice...the roommates. I mean Allen's annoying and a serious idiot- but they're good people. I'm glad you got to meet them.

[fujibayashi]

[Hey, he asked for it.]

They are good people. It sounds like they have your back. That's really important in a place like this. [And when you're a closet tsundere who won't ask anyone for help.]

We both got pretty lucky with roommates this time.

[wilder]

Yeah, guess so. [He'll take another bite of his stew, now that the heavy emotional talk is over!]

Yeah? Yours are those Riku and Axel guys right?

[fujibayashi]

[Nothing makes you hungrier than desperation.]

Yeah. Riku's the one with the white hair, and Axel is the redhead. They knew each other on their world. I don't think it was always friendly, but they got over it.

[Kind of like them. Sort of. Minus the getting over part.]

[wilder]

[Damn right! Every bite he doesn't eat is another he'll have to fend Allen off from later]

Yeah, they seemed pretty chummy in the catacombs. What are they like?

[fujibayashi]

[Sheena rests her chin in her palm.]

Riku is quiet and kind of... intense. He can be pretty stubborn if you try to boss him around, though. I'm not sure why, but he acts like he has the whole universe on his shoulders.

Axel is the complete opposite. He's older than me and Riku, but he's lazy and loudmouthed like someone else I know. When it really counts, though, he always tries to take care of the people around him.

[wilder]

Maybe he does. I've heard some pretty crazy backstories in this place.

[he scoffs] Like someone you know that's lazy and loudmouth? Must be someone I haven't met!

[fujibayashi]

He said something about being a protector. Maybe instead of just two worlds linked, there's more he has to deal with. I'm not sure.

[Oh please.]

Try looking in a mirror once in a while.

[wilder]

Maybe. I guess you could always ask about it unless you guys got a "no questions" policy or something.

[a scoffing noise!]

Hey my mouth is beautiful, not loud. And besides, weren't you juuust saying how I try so hard and I nearly got myself killed over it! Now is that lazy!?

[What did you really think he wouldn't try to use it just a little against you?]

[fujibayashi]

Maybe I will. I didn't ask at the time 'cause we were trying to push back the UE.

[Her eyes narrow.]

-- S-shut up and eat your food!

[wilder]

Ohhh, yeah I guess that's not good small talk time.

[AHAHA POINT FOR HIM, aw yeah. Except he'll glance at the bowl that's still half full.]

Hm? But I'm practically full.

[fujibayashi]

[A pause.]

Oh... right. I'm used to making food for more people.

[Maybe they can play Yahtzee or something.]

[wilder]

Heh heh, you do the cooking for your roommates? That's just homely. ♥

[fujibayashi]

Excuse me?! We take turns! [Except they skip Axel because Axel fails at everything that isn't barbecue.] Besides, I don't cook because it's a domestic thing. [A huff.] I cook because I like it.

[wilder]

Uh huh, I'm sure!

But jeez, I wonder if I've gotten better at cooking than you now....

[fujibayashi]

[She looks a tad skeptical, but they could make a competition out of this-- and she doesn't really like to lose.]

... If you want to cook for me, I'm not going to say no.

[wilder]

[Damn, he was hoping to have her get annoyed. He's pretty sure he still can't beat her]

[Aw well. Time for plan B]

You mean like a romantic dinner date in~? Well I sure wouldn't say no! ♥

[fujibayashi]

[............. And here comes the redness.]

T-that's not what I meant! Cheria said I should try some of your cooking in case you've improved--

[wilder]

[Aw yeah]

Now now, it's okay! I've gotten really good at omelets, so I could make you breakfast in bed!

[fujibayashi]

[She groans, pressing at her temples so she doesn't flip the table.] How many times do I have to say it!? I'm not one of your hunnies!

[wilder]

[he snickers some]

Alright alright, I'm sorry.

Yeah, I can cook for you sometime.

[fujibayashi]

No you're not.

[It kinda tumbles out before she can stop it, oops. She's not looking directly at him, but there's still a bit of pink on her nose.]

Don't even think about it until you're better.

[wilder]

Heeey, of course I am!

[Wow she really is blushing about it. What is that about??]

Huh? Why? I'm not Regal- I don't need my legs to cook!

[fujibayashi]

[I dunno, Zelos! God forbid someone have genuine feelings about you!

She tries not to snort at that little remark. Must not crack under pressure. Pressure being: Zelos being intentionally hilarious. If he's being unintentionally hilarious that's totally different.]

Cooking requires mobility. What if you drop something on your good foot?
