Location: Agriculture Wing, Moon Base to start. Cafeteria, warehouse, docking bay, VR rooms, Transport Pad, or Observatory later on.

Summary: Space Zombies are allowed out of the Agriculture Wing, slowly revving up their systems to try and infect and absorb as many of the Transports (or 12 Initiative Members) as possible.
Warnings: Log will be locked for potentially graphic violence. Please warn in threads should the violence or gore become graphic.

Everything is a success at first, from the cool rush of air out of the Agriculture Wing once the doors are fully unlocked, to the heady sense of accomplishment for finally moving forward on something good for the long-term usability of the Moon Base. It's intended to remain a resource, after all, but not be a permanent home. Fraying tempers and the sense of cabin fever descending on Transports continues to showcase how important it is to get back down on Earth to regain some breathing room.

There's little enough dust between all the unmoving, unlit structures, many even supporting the barest dried husks of what once grew there. Upon the lightest touch, they disintegrate, turning into a dust that falls to the ground. The silent rows will be reclaimed and turned into functioning units, based on Transport efforts, and Transport time invested in the project.

There's just one problem. Something stirs in the reclaimed wing, among tangles of hosing and wiring. Skitterings and movements that make no sense for a long abandoned Moon Base. The further in Transports go, relying on magic or technology to generate light past the bare minimum maintained by the base, the more disturbing sights they may run into.

Of course, the most disturbing of all might be lying just around the far corner -- but don't worry, it's only a flesh wound. Try not to get surprised in the machinery, caught suffering from not looking up or caught making out with anything unsavory this holiday season, Transports. We need all of you to stay alive!

[Well...

...Kris was satisfied with watching. The less spells she had to use, the better. That said, she was familiar with how werewolves fought so this gorefest wasn't anything new or disgusting. She simply preferred things to be a little neater but a person couldn't always get what they wanted.

Oh right, fighting. Kris supposes she should do something...like cast fireball. Somewhere not near Seras, of course. Getting caught inside that would burn, for obvious reasons.]

Um...watch out!

[There's currently two of them trying to attack Seras. She's faster than them by far and the added bonus of her shadow largely keeps them at bay. Still, it's close quarters and one thing that impedes her is a reluctance to cause structural damage to the base. Seras isn't clear enough on where the outer walls lie.

If she breaches them she'll be fine, the same can't be said for any humans or other beings who can't survive without oxygen in this section however.

As she slices one in half the other lunges with the pincers that count for its arms and stabs into her shoulder while Kris' warning echoes down the hall. The cry Seras gives sounds more like one of rage than pain. Ripping herself free she seems to fly down the hallways to give herself some distance, skidding to a landing by Kris.]

That doesn't hurt at all?

[Which is hardly the point. That point being one was still alive. Kris didn't make too much of a move to kill it but she did raise a hand. If it decided to take its chances, which no doubt it would, she'd have something ready. Just in case Seras wasn't up for it, which Kris highly doubted was the case.]

It hurts but I can handle it. My body heals quickly.

[She assures her.

Seras is very much up for it. As the ghoul starts to shamble it's way down towards them, shrieking and snarling Seras takes off in a hurtling run towards it, leaping so the top of her head just brushes the ceiling and comes down with both feet on top of the creature. The sound of breaking bones and crushed flesh is very audible as she severs the limbs moments later.]

You're pretty efficient at this, if anything.

[Minus the yelling. Kris would have done without that, mostly for the sake of stealth but she wasn't exactly going to judge.]

And I know we're pressed for time but what kind of magic is that?

[Regardless of the gore, she's pointing at the more shadowy portions of Seras' missing arm.]

[She calls back, tossing the limbs a decent distance from the bulk of the corpse to be safe.

At the question Seras pauses.]

I'm not sure how to explain... it just is. I gained it the first time I drank a humans blood and it's been growing ever since.

That makes sense, I suppose. But I've never seen anything like that happen. Except now so I'm not going to be surprised.

[Somehow, she is looking at the present in retrospect. Or is just that dense. Any guess is the best guess.]

[She laughs lightly.]

I've never met any others like me and my master. I wouldn't be so quick to say that.

Hmmmmm, I see. I had to kill a vampire once but I'm pretty sure he wasn't as strong as you were. He was probably pretty weak now that I think about it. But he could turn into mist, which I guess is different.

[bloodthirsts]

That's something my master could do, I've never done it.

[She's glad for the small reprieve at the moment. The wound on her shoulder is already gone, there's not even a hole left in her shirt.]

You can fight, can't you?

I can!

[She brightens up more. Some level of joy above what she was already at.]

I'm just not good at upfront things like you seem to be.

That's good. We could work together for a while.

[Just making sure you're good to be out here, Kris, she doesn't want you getting hurt.]

That sounds good! I usually need a couple seconds to cast spells so it's always helpful to have someone with me.

[bloodthirsts]

Tell me, what do your spells do in particular? We could work out an effective strategy.

I do have the usual set of teleportations spells and some others. Like fireballs and lightning bolts. Then there's the one that makes meteors to hit people and all the ones I use to give myself more power...

[bloodthirsts]

Um... let's avoid the meteors in here and um, hm.

[Seras is surprised at the range.]

I'm not sure fire is a good idea given how enclosed it is, and the oxygen problem.

I can also stop time for a little bit too. That's handy, right?

You can? That could definitely come in handy!

[She smiles.]

I've got two knives too, in case you're worried about something blowing up. All that should be good though, right?
