[Another who was roughing it? Gosh, what luck. She and Hilbert could totally roast some marshmallows or... whatever they did back then. Cook beans together. Yeah.

Unfortunately, it's not Hilbert who finds Kyouko, but his Rotom. Eeks sees that gently smoldering coal pile and raises her a greeting screech in the darkness of the night. If it helps any, it's wearing a cute ribbon on its head.]

[Wow what in the world is that even. Kyouko scrambles to her feet as quickly as she can manage, and her Soul Gem forms, filling the area with a dim red light. From there, it's only a matter of summoning an energy spear from her gem to point it at the intruder. She stares at the Pokemon warily, but doesn't move to attack just yet. Or transform. That would be very unfortunate.

A familiar? Here? She hadn't even sensed it.]

What the hell...?

[Whoa!! Eeks notices the sudden change in atmosphere and is unsure how to go on. Does it prepare to defend itself? Run away? Maybe it should see if it can convince her that it's nice... Though she doesn't look too friendly herself.

The Rotom floats uncertainly, hoping it doesn't look too frightening, and forces a smile.]

[Well, the poor little Pokemon gets his answer when Kyouko swings the glowing spear at it. It's a warning blow, so to speak, so it doesn't hit him, but it's clear enough Kyouko means business.]

Back off!

[The Gem wasn't emitting the pulsing glow unique to Witch and familiar sensing, but Kyouko was taking no chances. Whatever this thing was, it had to be a monster of some sort.]

so high tailing it out of here, though really it only goes over a hill some distance away. That's where Hilbert is, and after a quick check up from him ("What's freaked you out so much, Eeks?") the two will return. Eeks hiding behind Hilbert.

Hopefully she's calmed down in the few minutes this took place! Hilbert is also a cautious distance away.]
