[Jesse's not difficult to spot. He's hanging out by the water, still wearing those bright red trunks, digging his bare feet into the sand and kicking it around a little. You know, enjoying the beach before it's time to get back to soggy, depressing ex-London. When he glances over and sees Saul and Anne heading toward him, he doesn't think much of it and gives them both a wave.]

[Let's see if Saul can psychically convey the following to Jesse:

I'M REALLY SORRY FOR WHATEVER IS ABOUT TO HAPPEN BUT JUST LET ME HANDLE IT OKAY THIS IS MY FAULT BE COOL MAN, BE COOL

If that doesn't work, he's going to have to settle for a vaguely worried and apologetic look that lasts all of three seconds before he's smiling in his usual way.]

Hey, Jesse.

Master Pinkman.

[ Her smile is pleasant despite the situation, and she moves a step to stand partially between them, off to the side enough not to seem like an intrusion. ]

I wonder if there has been some sort of misunderstanding... I have had the honor of meeting with the good lawyer here, but then he proceeded to ask me the details of the medicine you procured for me. [ Her wording; everything about is it very careful. ] I felt that this was entirely unnecessary, but must know for myself if this is common practice with your patients.

[Jesse gets the signal from Saul, and he's totally lost for about two seconds before Anne illuminates everything. At which point Jesse directs a look to Saul that reads: REALLY?]

Wow, I think Saul's confused about like confidentiality. Maybe I gotta remind him that my work is totally none of his business.

[And there Saul goes again with the apologetic look, this time complete with a slight shrug like it wasn't all his fault.]

I was simply wondering what kind of sleep aid you've been giving Mistress Boleyn over here. What I didn't tell her is that I'm in need of some, myself, so — what've you got, Jesse?

[...apparently, Saul's not sorry enough to keep that challenging look of his at bay.

But then it's redacted immediately, and sighs and jerks his head toward the treeline.]

A word, Master Pinkman?

[ Wow, that is a load of horse manure, at least it sounds like, but how is Anne to know for sure? She isn't positive what any of this is about, but suddenly Saul wants some privacy, and though Anne is loathe to leave them when this meet-up was her idea, she knows that this is not something to win by force. ]

I will not be far.

[ Whether that's directed towards Saul or Jesse is up in the air, as she has a quick smile and nod for both before moving to give them some space. Anne needs a shade break, anyway. ]

[Even Jesse thinks that cover story blows. He shoots Anne an apologetic look of his own before stalking off with Saul. It's taking all of his willpower not to punch his lawyer in the back of the head while Anne can still see them.

Once they've reached a reasonable distance:]

[Anne gets a polite little nod; Jesse, once they're far enough away, gets a Look.

Saul clasps his hands together. When he speaks, his voice is still slightly hushed.]

So! Time for some historical trivia. Anne Boleyn is also known as...?

[For a second he looks bewildered. Then, the longer he thinks about it, the prouder he looks.]

[Jesse shrugs and folds his arms over his chest and glances back over to Anne with a stupid grin. Make of that what you will, Saul.]

Yeah, okay. Whatever. Can you maybe screen your clientele a little more carefully from now on?

I'm just giving her Ambien. Don't get your panties all twisted up about it. I mean, she couldn't sleep. What else was I supposed to do?

I mean, technically. Anyway, I just wanted to make sure you weren't giving her anything... questionable.

What's it matter to you, anyway? I mean, like even if I was giving her heroin or something.
