...Alright, then. I didn't think it was really that big a deal if you were, just that it'd be tough for you to actually make conversation.

[The fact that she was actually talking to him seemed to be proof of otherwise.]

Well, if you don't understand the legend-- He and I are the same person, separated by age. I retain all of his memories, because he's drunk the potion of youth he obtained from within the underworld. I always keep his memories, but because there's such a disparity between our personalities, I tend to feel he's another person entirely. He thinks the same.

Actually, it's pretty easy to reverse the potion in the end. Because we're technically a spirit, all I've gotta do is focus my will to return to that age.

[...Difficult to approach? He knows he's been making himself a bit intimidating to the locals to up his level of persuasiveness but... is he really that intimidating normally?

A mental note gets made to ask someone about that later. For now, he focuses on being polite and hopefully not overly intimidating.]

Frodo in return, had an exasperated look for him. "And that, dear Axel, was this old hobbit's way of trying to feel around for whatever mischief you are no doubt up to."

He could not conceal his relief when it seemed that at least Axel did not have getting trampled as part of the plan. It was not entirely comforting. Plans, as he knew all too well, had ways of not going just that, according to plan. At any rate, they had come at last to the pasture, or what stood for one. With how terrible the land was here, green grass stood little chance. Frodo remained behind the fence for now.

"I have never; what does it entail?" Though he had a sneaking suspicion what it might end up being, particular with Axel's remark about sleeping upright.

[ Honestly, he would have gone with the nice, steady walking pace they were going at, but now that he was out of the shade and feeling the sun burning into his back ... No thanks. He'd much rather get somewhere cooler as fast as possible.

So he adjusts his grip, tangling his hands more firmly into her mane and clenching his legs before speaking, a bit more confidently. ]

Jacquese stares for a moment, aghast. He'd heard plenty of ... questionable things about the Initiative already and he'd been willing to give them the benefit of doubt still, but almost erasing people? That was taking the cake. ]

Did they intentionally try to do that? As punishment or ... ?

[Kratos is fully prepared to pay whatever price the owner gives when the girls speaks up. He glances down at her, debating whether or not she's serious, and releases a soft sigh upon determining that she indeed is.]

Your method of negotiation is doomed to fail.

[Bluntly said while turning his attention back at the owner. Really, shouting at anyone rarely ever yields positive results.]

It... um. It is? [ An honor. Meeting Robin. It freezes him up for a second, along with all those carefully prepped words he'd had all ready. ]

I- um. Well, I figured we'd meet up sometime. It's why I didn't say anything before.

There's no harm in wanting to have a little more money to your name. Our lodgings here certainly aren't much to speak of.

Though I'm sad to hear your endeavors haven't yielded much.
