The innuendo wasn't missed, but she figures ignoring it is the best way to - she's not entirely sure what end goal she's going for, but probably the one where she doesn't have to consider any of the considerations that come up with innuendo. ] Unless you happen to have water wherever you're staying. I don't agree with his way of thinking, it's true. But I'm not going to hold his behavior against you - you're the same, but completely different in personality if that's the case. [ She had no problem with chatting with him. Heck, she'd probably even talk to his older self. Maybe. Depending. ]

Yeah - there are dark guilds and light guilds in Fiore. The Dark Guilds are the ones who might take on assassinations, or who cause a lot of problems for the country. Like people who want to rule the world, or destroy it.

For wizards especially, magic is our way of life. Actually, just about everything is done by magic in Fiore. [ Thoughtful for a moment, because why Tokyo? ]

Maybe there's something in Tokyo that draws them. Like an attractor or something. [ That'd suck. Politely admiring the bird carving, she grins, with sudden interest. ]

Unfortunately Claire's faith in him is about to take another hit, as Jake gathers up his cards and looks down at them trying to remember what cards were good and bad to have in this game. He's fairly certain that the face cards are the ones you want, also ones of the same set? Something like that. He unfortunately doesn't realize he's the one that's supposed to make the bet, and the longer everyone keeps staring at him the more he squirms uncomfortably in his seat. ]

[ Summer in the Old West, with its hot sun, long days, oftentimes rather flexible skein of laws...? Unfortunately, Lightning's definitely not from Earth and has zero context on what sort of environment all the Transports have found themselves in here. She has little interest in following along with what's been requested of them when she doesn't know what's going on and...

Long story short, the fact that there are horses here is far more interesting to her than anything else right now. She's shifted to hide her bright hair from the locals, but otherwise most of her involvement so far is gathering up horses by dubious means- curiously, three 'loose' horses follow her with unusual obedience as she sits astride a dappled-grey fourth.

Would anyone like a ride? :'D ]

[ Lightning shows a lovely frown as she turns her gaze on over to her rather reluctantly-made companion for the moment; with her arms already crossed unhappily as she looks around at the rest of this... place, is it really any surprise when she throws out an entirely flat: ]

That's not much of a "just." As long as I am the girl in the game, going through all the rest of this on a joke, then I'm still the person I am here and now. I still experienced those things, no matter what a later point of view tells me about objective reality.

There's an element of the subjective to any view on reality. It's nicer when we share the same subjective view as those around us... but not necessary, unfortunately.

[Well, it isn't really music so much as trying to belt out a tune, but eventually Utena manages to get a song working, and she's proud of herself in a childish sort of way. She knows very little of the American West, particularly this era, but she has watched quite a few movies, and she's feeling like pretty legit as far as cowboys go.

She's a little too caught up in her harmonica playing to notice Jericho's dilemma right away, but eventually the noise catches her attention, and she stands up, rushing over to help.]
