[ He nods when she runs off, and murmurs to the horse a bit while she's gone, knowing what she's up to.

He reaches his right arm behind him, palm up, when she instructs. ]

[on her toes to check over his shoulder as she puts the treats into his hand, Emily then closes his fingers over them as if to tell him it's now securely in his grip.

Thumbs up, he's good to go!]

[ Oh excellent.

He brings his hand back around and opens it. ] Here you are. See?

[ And the horse nibbles at the treats eagerly. Careful so he doesn't end up with bitten fingers, Kuroh shifts to the side so he can smile politely at the girl. ]

Thank you. ...He probably would too, if he could.

[loveracer]

[Seeing the horse start eating and Kuroh thanking her, Emily moves to the side so that it'll be easier for both of them. She smiles when she sees how happy the horse is too.]

Nah, it's alright! Anything to help a man and his horse friend make unbreakable bonds.

Oh yeah, I'm Emily, by the way! What's your name?

[nikubaka]

[ For just a moment his smile is painted with...a touch of confusion at her description. Really, they just met, more like casual acquaintances than anything...oh well, no matter. ]

My name is Kuroh Yatogami. It's very nice to meet you, Emily-san.

You...are a Transport as well, correct?

[loveracer]

[Hehehe it's okay Kuroh, soon you'll be the master of jokes :)]

Nice to meet you too, what do you want me to call you, Kuroh or Yatogami?

[She then nods!] Yeah, I only just arrived a couple of days before we then came here? It's been really confusing for me.

[nikubaka]

[ He pauses briefly. ] Yatogami is fine for now.

That was my experience as well. It's a lot to take in. [ He looks back thoughtfully at his new horse friend. ] I've never been to America before, but this is not how I imagined my first journey here.

Yatogami it is. [Mock salute!]

Yeah, don't know how long it'll take, but I'll try to learn as much as possible. Are you holding up okay? [The horse seems to be pleased that he's getting visitors, really haha. Emily looks around, even at her boots.] Right? I never did either! [Save for meeting President Omaha through a virtual world but that's not the point] I'm from a time way into the future, from...this time. How about you?

[ The horse friend does seem pleased. Kuroh idly strokes its neck as he answers. ]

Unsurprisingly, the shock still hasn't completely worn off for me.

[ "This" time? He peers at her a little curiously. ] It was the early 21st century when I was taken. [ Then he can't help but chuckle. ] Strange that we're asking each other "when" we are from instead of "where."
