And damn, I guess a lot of humans here came from really bad places. Where I'm from I'm kinda weird, with just my Ma. Only other one from Inaba is Nanako-chan, an' both of us 'cause one of our parents died. Naoto-kun lost hers in an accident though, so I guess it ain't something that never happens but. All of you?

If you know Eridan had a lusus I'm guessing you had some idea about our apocalypse and the game. One of the pre-emptive consequences was that everyone's custodian died.

Much like an "unusual" past seems to be a prerequisite to transporthood.

I just mean - so many different "governments". I never know what to expect from your species on that basis alone. [She says governments kind of like a mother of a regrettably Pokemon-addicted child would say "types".]

[You know what, sewing is a good idea, and in out of the heat would be easier to work. After a few more uncomfortable moments he pulls out his own work. This is the right place for tailoring, at least, and the owner won't mind, right?]
