Glad to be back here! It's kind of a special place for me.

[frorn]

You mean you've been here before in the Wild West?

[fintastic]

In New Mexico! I live here for a little while. Well, on a different Earth.

[frorn]

Really? Wow, you don't look like it.

[ ... Wait, that's probably a rude thing to say. ]

Uh, no offense.

[fintastic]

[ No offense taken, really, but the opportunity is just too great! ]

You mean you don't think I fit in with a bunch of humans?

[frorn]

[ He grins a bit sheepishly. ]

You kinda stand out from them, is all I'm saying.

[ She feigns surprise, decently, though she's not the best actress... ]

How so?

[frorn]

[ Really, gurl. He's raising his eyebrows and he has a feeling he's being played, but you never know for sure when there's so many different worlds out there. ]

Well, they don't tend to have horns and gray skin. Not where I'm from at least.

[fintastic]

Oh yeah! [ Yeah no that's about as far as she can go before she starts laughing. ] Well they're the ones missing out! Horns are great!

[frorn]

[ Yeah okay, that confirms he was being played, but Jack takes it in good humor, grinning. ]

They do look pretty cool.

Make you could make some for yourself out of snow! Like a snowman, only... snowhorns!

[frorn]

Hey, you're right. I could.

[ Actually he could do it right now with the ice clinging to him ... so that's exactly what he does. Breaking off two of the bigger icicles and reshaping them like horns when he's stuck them on his head. ]

How's that?

[fintastic]

[ Feferi laughs and winds up rolling over onto her side, probably a little too amused. When she rights herself, she has to clutch at her gut. ]

That's perfect! Okay, you can be an honorary troll, then!

[frorn]

[ There's nothing better than making someone laugh, in Jack's opinion, so he just watches on with a wide grin, feeling a little more energized just by that. ]

Really? I'm honored! Although I gotta say, I've never seen a troll like you before.

[fintastic]

Just the kind that lives under bridges.

[ It's not even a question, more just what she assumes everyone thinks of when they hear troll, out of experience. ]

[frorn]

Eh, more the land-orientated kind. You look ...

[ WOW so tempted to say fishy, but. ] Like someone that wouldn't be out of place in the ocean.

[fintastic]

That's because I grew up in the ocean!

[frorn]

Makes sense. So, you're a ... sea troll?

[fintastic]

Yes, you're right! That's exactly it! See, I knew you would make a good honorary troll.

[frorn]

I'm guessing that means there are different kinds of trolls where you're from, am I right? What kind of troll would I be? Besides honorary, that is.

[fintastic]

Well, two different kinds. Just landdwellers and seadwellers! Can you swim really well and live underwater?

[frorn]

Swimming? Not really the greatest, but I could stay underwater. [ A beat. ] If the water doesn't freeze first.

[fintastic]

The water I lived in was very warm, but you'd have to be really good at swimming, so you would probably be a landdweller.

[frorn]

Are there no trolls that can fly? Because I personally prefer the sky over those land and sea any time.

[fintastic]

Not really, though there's legends about trolls who could fly! How about, since we're breaking the rules already anyway, you can be like one of those trolls!
