[Zevran's lips quirk up as he feels her hand over his.]

And if I wished for that for you, it would not make such freedom any more possible. Do not torment yourself with the knowledge of things you wish could come to pass.

Right now, we are together, and it is a beautiful day. If only we had the beach to ourselves, hm? I would find a way to make it memorable.

I've been given leave from the Wardens and I've taken it on my own. It just won't last forever. [And neither will I.]

What about tonight when it gets dark and most people are asleep?

I know of nothing that does.

[Zevran leans in closer, giving her a slow, very deliberate kiss.]

Hmm... I suppose it may have been in inevitable that it happen in a tent, regardless of a location.

[She lingers after the kiss is finished, nearly mouthing her words against his lips as she tries to stifle a laugh.]

Ironic, no? We can wait until we return, if you'd prefer.

I think I will have trouble waiting for tonight! [Zevran smirks, nuzzling against her.]

Now is good. We are both relaxed, more or less safe from danger. [Because it's not like anywhere is truly safe, but the sound of the waves is quite soothing to Zevran.]

More or less.

[The beach is safer than Exsilium proper, that's for certain, provided no animals can get through the barrier. It seems like a gift they can give one another, a night to remember even if they return back to their apartments to find them bombed.]

Tonight it is. Don't stand me up. [The last part is a tease she murmurs as she kisses his cheek.]
