[ Her flight slows as they approach about the area she knows the barrier to be. It wouldn't do to run into it. Her wingstrokes alter, and she takes to brushing the clawed tips out far ahead with each beat. ]

Then you didn't assume the truth of the first appearance for Exsilium, why not grant me the same courtesy?

[ He lets the silence lapse there, brows drawing together while he turns the words over in his head. They're almost - almost - familiar, in a really strange, off-kilter way, ]

[ Of course it's what he's not doing. It's what he hasn't done from the start, with everything that's come along with this new... strange... almost maybe friendship.
