[It's not the best but it's far from the worst. He's dealt with worse water problems than water in a dirty glass.

He has to admit, it's probably the best-tasting water he's had in a while. Desperation, exhaustion and all.]

[Considering the amount of damage he took from the mystery archer, Ollie's just surprised he can walk properly. Somehow, they got rid of the worst damage, which were all over his legs.]

"No problem. Punks like him shouldn't pick on kids." Kanji glared at the man until he was sure Ico was out of harm, but then his expression softened.

"Hey, you okay?"

He took in the frayed tunic with a frown and after an awkward moment added. "I could probably mend some of that for you."

Gamzee might not have known coffins originally, but he'd had enough experience by now to recognize the word and that it had to do with death.

"You don't look like you're all corpsy, little brother. What's the low down all on these coffins and this motherfucking castle?"

He liked this kid, with the almost familiar horns and the gift of the goose.

[And Isaac hands the key over, ready to follow the man to the room. He's already wishing he'd brought more supplies, but there hadn't been time. He's hoping he doesn't encounter anything too serious.]

[Isaac just fixes him with a long, calm stare, making sure to hold his gaze until Jesse looks away.]

But if you do need any kind of medical help at all, you can come to me. No judgement; I'm in no position to be doing that.

[ Feferi stands up with him, dusting herself off and looking around. She actually doesn't know where to find a cave, but she's willing to take a guess. ]

That's why when they said we were coming here, I went and got plenty of water! I knew we'd need it.

As Raven steps through, she would feel a rush of cool air - the inside of this space had a more pleasant climate than outside.

Further, she could see outside through the 'door' she had just stepped through.

[She's just talking herself into ever deeper confusion, really. Someone should stop her.]

Axel laughed; Frodo had such a quaint way of putting things that he couldn't help but be amused.

"Easy now; for the record the sort of mischief I am up to never involves getting myself trampled," he assured him. "Or maimed or mangled or particularly injured in any way. Frankly I prefer to avoid injury whenever possible, but we can't always get what we want, I suppose."

Leaning against the fence, he pressed his lips together.

"Well, honestly I've never done it either, myself," he said, "but I've heard about it." He twisted where he stood and pointed to where a solitary cow was standing, presumably dozing, and went on, "The idea is to sneak up on a cow while it is asleep, and tip it over." He turned his eyes back to Frodo and shrugged. "Doesn't seem so hard, really, but I'm told it's a show of merit and status to accomplish the task. No cows back in Exsilium, so I thought I'd take advantage of the setting and have a go at it."

"Yes, I'm okay," he said, smiling. The man did not hurt him when he grabbed him. Mostly, Ico was just scared and confused.

He noticed Kanji looking at his clothes and he frowned. It used to be his best clothes but time had worn it out. His Mark, however, was the same as the first day he wore it. He felt less self-conscious when Kanji ended the awkward moment.

"Really? I'd like that."

The dog wagged his stub of a tail back and forth hard enough that his entire lower body shook from it. He was more than a little excited to be back out in the open, to run without boundaries. Elissa shook her head at the animal.

Once they were closer to the outskirts of the city, she goaded the horse into a trot and kept her eyes on any passerby that could get too close. No one seemed interested in bothering them and their exit was smooth; at length, they were able to pass the last few houses that marked the end of the town proper. Once out of the immediate vicinity of homes, she pulled back on the reins to slow the horse. "All right, as promised." She glanced down at the dog. "Get ready, boy."

Low down? Ico looked hesitant. It sounded like Gamzee wanted more information so he continued.

"I escaped. The coffin broke because of my Mark." He placed his hand over his chest. "The coffins made all the other Sacrifices turn into shadows. I destroyed the stone coffins. Every single one."

[got_it_memorized]

[Hey, Axel doesn't exactly look like he's taking this whole political mission too seriously either. That's because he isn't. Politics are for suckers, and he's way more interested in just doing some recon around town.

[He laughs sharply.]

Yeah, I definitely didn't stand a chance the last time I was on horse level. Bastard threw me arse over kettle and it took me an hour to get all the sand out of my teeth, I tell you what. [Granted, he isn't about to tell Yosuke that it was because he'd essentially tried to set the horse on fire; that part isn't really relevant.] You ever had any luck riding one?

[Billy grins back---he doesn't need signs to communicate his excitement about having something worthwhile to learn.]

Great. I have to work. I'll come after dinner?

[Oh... Oh, no. Kougyoku is going to be lonely again at this rate! He needs to do something quickly to distract her.

Looking around frantically the area, Aladdin perks when he spots a fruit stand. He runs over to buy one apple before returning to offer it.]

Don't worry! Everyone is strong! I believe in them, I'm sure that they'll be able make it.

[Sinbad and the others can take care of themselves for sure, it's Alibaba who he's most concerned about. However, he wants to believe in this chosen king. He knows that Alibaba can make it through.]
