Date & Time: Jan 12th to Jan 19th (real time), July 11th to July 18th (historical time), 1884
Location: Black Rock, New Mexico, USA
Characters: All transports
Summary: Fearing UE reprisal, the Initiative corrals all transports and shoos them onto a mission back to the Wild West, to vote Gerald "Moony" Jackson in as Mayor of Black Rock. Transports are encouraged to used all their wiles to encourage townsfolk to vote in favor of him, too. Other than that, they're free to roam as they will for 7 whole days! Good luck finding food and shelter, masses. (See the OOC post for more information.)

The Initiative had been terse and rushed as they gathered the transports into the Transporter room, and anyone unwilling to participate will have been forcibly hurried along. The Initiative employees had seemed distracted and worried, and unwilling to stand around and debate. It was time to move. The teleportation had gone off without a hitch, and a roomful of transports have been treated, quite suddenly, to a broad and sunny blue sky, and especially to the heat of mid July in the American West.

Enjoy your weeklong stay in Black Rock, New Mexico! The town is small and sleepy, with just 3 good saloons and one questionable (but considerably cheaper) one. There are a few inns, but these inns aren't quite prepared to room a sudden influx of over 300 travelers, and some people might have to bunk up or get creative with their sleeping arrangements. If you sleep in an inn at all, of course. There's plenty of unexplored wilderness out there to sleep in instead, isn't there? Just make sure to check your boots for scorpions in the morning.

The only instructions are "vote for Gerald "Moony" Jackson for Mayor, and try to convince others to do the same", and you've been given just enough money to cover a very sparse room and board for 7 days, if you don't spend it in anything else.

OTA - All Week

[ Ugh, the money was really barely enough - but it wouldn't be the first time Lucy had to budget carefully. Besides which, Erza may want them all in the same room. Better safe than sorry, right? So after picking out a set of clothing for herself and Natsu that would help them fit in a little better, and of course, after a brief powwow, she set out into the town to work her feminine wiles. Easy Peasy Lemon Squeezy right? RIGHT. When she's not wandering through the town to try and convince people, she might be sightseeing or cooling off in one of the saloons. ]

[Elza remained separate from the rest of the Transports. There had been no choice but to be forced into this world of the past, but that didn't mean that she was happy about it. Besides, with everyone being forced to be here meant that he was here as well. That was why the gunner remained shrouded from view within her white cloak, hood up and hiding her features as she stood quietly out on the street.]

[ Well that's certainly an odd sight. With that cloak hood up and everything, she'd wonder if Elza wasn't overly hot at all. Maybe she was lost? It was a new area after all. Curious and a bit concerned, she wandered over. ]

Is everything all right?

[She sensed somebody approaching her location, and shifted her gaze over towards the person in question. Sighting the young female, she felt a slender brow rise up in question when there appeared to be concerned on her face.

Why? Elza wondered while peering at the young female.]

I don't see why it wouldn't be, kid.

Oh good - I just thought it was a little strange, since you were standing all the way out here by yourself.

[ Cowboy hats are selling like hotcakes! Lucy's wearing a whole cowboy outfit herself, complete with hat, which she had been adjusting when she hears the greeting. Jumping a bit in surprise, she grins at the familiar face. Nice hat, by the way. ]

Haruto!~ [ And a short huff follows that because nuuuuuuu not Princess darnit! ]

Are you still calling me that? [ Pout. It never EEEENDS. (But she privately likes being called Princess or she'd have put her foot down a lot harder with Virgo, fufufu. ) ]

[It's a good thing then that the gun he's currently carrying holstered by his hip wasn't bought with real money. They story behind it is fairly drawn out so to sum it up he found himself challenged to a quick draw match after bumping into a rogue traveler. Since he didn't have a gun he let Natsu borrow one. But due to his inhuman durability and quick reflexes he managed to win and in such a way that the challenger ran off before retrieving the borrowed weapon from Natsu. Already however his reputation was growing steadily.]

[Oh so she was using his old plan S. S for sexyness. Awesome. Maybe this time it would work. These people were from other worlds so surely the tastes would match right? Either way he quickly made his way over to the girl.]

[ Oh she's heard about what you've been up to. It made her facepalm at first, but at the same time, she wasn't surprised that Natsu would take on the mission in this way. And it worked too. ]

[ As a matter of fact Plan S was... kind of 50/50! Aaand sometimes it worked a little TOO well, since she'd had to bolt from one of the guys she'd been charming. SHE DIDN'T KNOW HE WAS A CREEPER ok. ]

[Hey this time it really wasn't his fault. And he did hold back. Erza ensured that with several descriptive threats at his person should so much as a spark ignite any of the buildings in the wooden town.]

Pretty good so far. Seems word about me is getting around.

[While he prefers his fighting style he's starting to see things from a perspective closer to Alzack or Bisca back home. Come to think of it those two would fit in here like the locals perfectly.]

And you? Any luck making people see things our way?

[ It's his fault only in the sense that he's there. It's like he draws those sort of situations towards him. It's kind of crazy; but so far no burning buildings is a good thing! ]

I've even heard people talking about you over around here too. [ A sheepish laugh at the latter question. ]

O-Of course! I'm cute, after all. The guys around here like a little attention from a cute - [ She trails off briefly, checking over her shoulder, and then glances back to her friend like nothing happened. ] -girl. Guys always listen to a cute girl!

[ No way is she going to mention that the numbers were more like 25% successful. *cough* ]

[Thus, Lucy would cross paths in the road with a young blond boy swinging around sticks of dynamite. He seemed absolutely pleased with himself, whistling a timeless tune the entire time.

Everyone crossing him was clearly disturbed, but he won the dynamite in gambling and was childishly excited about putting it to use.]

[ Having finished a fair amount of chatter for the day, convincing people to vote for that Mooney guy, Lucy paused at the sight of the boy playing with dynamite. Wait, what? ]

[Gilgamesh had stopped whistling on a dime, eyes fixed on Lucy. He recognized her easily, but the sentiment would likely go unreturned. His smile was beaming.]

[ Looks like two great minds think alike! Asami is dressed like a local barmaid, having slithered her way into that position, but she's out and about in town for a break. She's tugging up her neckline when she spots Lucy, and then a smirk forms on her lips. She approaches her with a quirked brow. ]

I saw that! Working your wiles, I see.

[ Lucy jumps at the voice, at first thinking it might be an irate girlfriend or wife who thought Lucy was trying to charm a guy away or something. But then recognition sets in, and Lucy grins, turning to glance at Asami. ]

Hey Asami! Cute outfit! [ She pushed up the brim of her hat, nodding at the assessment. ]

It's the easiest way to get the vote, I think! [ Even if it Plan S wasn't entirely successful all the time. But the ones Lucy failed to get the vote for, Erza managed to get them at least. ]

[ She folds her arms to hold the dress in place up top. ]

Well, I'm trying. Seems like guys here really like the whole damsel-in-distress bit, so I tell them I'd feel safe with Moony Jackson. They seem receptive enough.
